I went for dessert only got churros and fried ice cream it was the worst I've ever had. Churros were small and tasteless and the fried ice cream was just ice-cream rolled in cornflakes
My husband and I have been going to this Puerto Vallarta on Deo in Newark for years and have almost always had a good experience.We normally are seated either immediately or, during very busy time (Friday and Saturday dinner), within minutes.The staff are mostly friendly and courteous, and the restaurant seems clean.The food comes out quickly and hot and good sized portions.The negatives...prices have gone up recently. And be sure to check your bill as ours is wrong (overcharged and double-charged) often.The salsa is very runny and some of the food (spinach quesadillas, for example) are way over salted.Overall, this is a good place.

Extremely rude and nasty attitude. Food severely under seasoned. I found a fly in my salsa. They charged for lemon flavored water and extra for completing my meal. If I could give a negative star I would. They were cussing, like I thought this was a family place. I’m disgusted
Up date.I used to love this place Was a 5 ⭐️ but not now. We Found this place 9 months ago, my wife and I visit a least once a month. We brought many family and friends. Unfortunately we just had the worst food and service ever. My plate was piping hot but my food was ice cold inside something just tasted off. “Old food”. Wife found a hair in her salsa. ?They also raised prices. 77.51 with tip for three. It’s sad. I have noticed business has dropped off. You use to have to wait for a table now only half full. I won’t give up on them yet . But will keep you informed.
Staff was quick, friendly and very helpful. Food was hot, delicious and will recommend this restaurant to anyone
