We have enjoyed their once famous and delicious pizza for over 30 years on a weekly basis. We have tried the NEW pizza from the Newark location three times under the new ownership. We are extremely disappointed that they were all undercooked, the crust and sauce does not taste the same or have the same texture, they failed to estimate their completion time, and were cold. Three strikes and your out. What a shame that a once famous Newark staple is but a fond memory.

Plaza pizza's best pizza in town I did have a problem with them but Brian the ower Made it right with me As soon as he heard about itSo they get 5 stars from me

We have been eating Plaza Pizza for nearly as long as they have been open! We now live in a different state and only get home a few times a year. Our family in Ohio knows that we will be having Plaza Pizza at some point. The crust is thin and a bit crunch. The sauce is so yummy and the whole reason this Pizza is so popular.

This pizza has been my lifes-blood for 20+ years now. Bless the new owners for not changing a thing. There is nothing beter !!!

Order was done on time... Haven't ordered pizza from here in years and it's still one of best pizzas in town.... Amazing food

Where ever I travel I like to try good local food. Let's just say I love to travel and eat ? I recently visited my family in Ohio and as they know I am a big lover of thin crust pizza, they recommended their local mom and pop pizza place, Plaza Pizza. They would get their pizza from Plaza a couple of times a month. I said, sure let's go and find out what's all the hype about. My my my were they right! First of all I have to praise the staff that were super nice. I bet the owners keep the friendly and almost family like atmosphere. Everyone was smiling and actually enjoyed their work. We did wait for our tasty piece of goodness for about 25 min but that just shows you how good they actually are. As we waited, the queue just kept getting bigger and bigger. We were there during the week but I bet during the weekends folks just swarm the place. The 2 of us ordered „All the Meats“ pizza and the „Italian Salad“ without the banana peppers. The salad was super tasty and complemented the meaty rich pizza perfectly. The thin crust in combo with the meats made the pizza melt in our mouths. They are super gracious and not stingy at all with their fresh ingredients. Loved it!While we were still in the area, we went there one more time and ordered a pepperoni pizza and an apple pie they call Shirley Lou. Tasted similar to the one my grandmother used to make. You can bet that made me reminisce.I highly recommend Plaza Pizza and wish I could order it right now in my country! When I come back to the US, that place will see me again ? In the meantime I keep enjoying the photos my family sends me eating Plaza Pizza.

The cracker crust on their pizza is tops! Make sure you call early. They are very popular and normally have a 45 min turn time or more.

Waited inside 20 minutes then was told sorry we gave your pizza to someone else you can have a banana pepper and mushroom or wait 40 more minutes. No offer of anything for your trouble just sorry for your luck 3 grandkids wanting for pizza didn’t want banana pepper and mushroom never order again
