We live in Akron, so when we get down there..the Dairy Isle is our first stop! The shredded chicken sandwiches are to die for and the vanilla milkshakes are far better than anything around here. The chicken is so simple, yet the flavor is the best! We've had a few things from there over time ranging from burgers, fries, onion rings, ice cream, etc...and it's always delicious. Staff is nice too, and it's just a quaint little spot for treats. Prices are definitely a plus, very budget friendly. Always look forward to coming into town!
First time back in 7 years tonight, ordered a brownie Sunday and literally got a cold hard cosmic brownie with a slap of ice cream on it. They tired coving the cosmic brownie up with cold “hot fudge”. Severely upset to pay $4.00 for a cold cosmic brownie I could of bought at the store..my family owns a ice cream shop and definitely don’t do that..
Their ice cream was amazing I believe it's real ice cream and not ice milk. Next time I'll get the banana split.
Always a great treat to go there. Ft long coney, mosorella sticks. Yummy
Stopped in today for a chicken salad sandwich, since they were the only dairy isle to make it, only to find out they just discontinued it from their menu.
There a few days ago and it was too hot waiting in there. Plus I placed a big order and didn't realize until I got home that they shorted me a sandwich. Check your order before you leave.
Went there this evening, waited 35 minutes for food. Spent $14 and food was not worth eating. Double hamburger was crispy and hard and cold. Fried mushrooms were cold inside. hot dogs are skinny and tasteless. won't be going back, after years of going there.
The quality of the ice cream has went down. It is like a water based version instead of milk and cream! Very disappointed and the strawberries was very tart and not fresh. This is not the sake quality I have had growing up eating it my whole life.
Terrible experience. Been going here for years and it just seems to get WORSE AND WORSE.. terrible customer service the “manager” got our order wrong and was told about it and I was told “she didn’t hear us” we spent $35 and told us we needed to reorder the $3 item. Any decent customer service would have just gave the item to us..I explained the situation and she told me to reach out on Facebook. Any manger would make the customer happy and make things right.. not to mention all food items were COLD.. I’m hoping the church st is better? I love going to the dairy isle but 30th has lost all business from my family and I. Also wouldn’t have been a big deal if they didn’t have a minimum on a debit
Let me preface this by saying that normally 98% of the time we have good food and good service. We look forward to the opening every year.We decided to get footlongs, cauliflower and malted tonight. My husband wasn't sure if the girl working the cash register was on her first day or what. However. Our order had to be repeated four times. Our orders of cauliflower were so small that both put together did indeed make one order. The gal at the register questioned my husband if a malt was such a thing. Then not believing him she turned around and asked the other girls...who were not interested in helping her or other customers and too involved on their phones, she had to ask them if malts were a real thing. She also had no idea of how to help the next customer who only wanted two large twists. He had to point out how to use the machine. He and my husband were polite with her but couldn't believe that no management was there to help and that none of the other staff would help. Hopefully this was a one time thing.out how to use the machine as again the staff was not helpful. Keep in mind my husband a d the twist customer were polite with her but our concern was no manage.wnt around to help...o nvious lack of training. Lack of help and good customer service today. Hopefully it's just a bad day and will be recrified.
