I just recently moved to the area and came here for my first time today. The customer service is above and beyond, prices are very fair, and my order was delicious!! I'll definitely be frequenting this cozy little cafe.
No menu to look at except board inside restaurant. Menus posted on website and pictures posted of menu are over 2 years old. Many dishes no longer being served. High prices on sandwiches with no sides. Baked goods are dry and not fully baked in the middle. Rude management lacking decent basic customer service skills. Will not be back!
I have several other coffee shops near my house with great coffee that I'll grab for something on the go, but if I want to settle in and spend a couple hours in a coffee shop reading or working, I drive from 30 minutes away just to go to Java Johnny's. The Egganini breakfast sandwich with bacon is out of this world good, and the coffee and tea drinks I've ordered never disappoint. Service is great, and it's spacious with plenty of seating and tables.Java Johnny's makes me want to move to Middletown so I can visit every day.

This place is excellent! They are consistent and nice no matter what day or time it is. We have tried a number of coffee places in the area and always end up realizing that there is no one that does it better. They have never made a mistake on our orders which nowadays seems like a miracle.

Staff not friendly coffee over filled it was leaking out of the cup onto the table and it wasn’t good to start with asked for cream they maybe put a drop it it. The only plus was the quite room.
