I love Donatos so for some reason I've gone back multiple times after saying I never would each time. The food is never right and frequently cold, the customer service is an absolute joke, and I have never waited less than two hours for my food. One time I waited over an hour and a half for my food, it never came so I called.I was on hold for twenty minutes and decided to drive to the store. I live about 12 minutes away so I stayed on hold while driving. When I walked in the store no one was at the front desk so I called for one of the four people standing in the back to help. I asked if I could hang up the phone and was told they didn't realize I was still holding. I decided to cancel my order and get food elsewhere because my food hadn't even been started.It's kind of unbelievable how one location can consistently be so bad. I've tried to say that one bad night of service doesn't make up for the other good nights but unfortunately there has never been a good night of service for me and my family from this store.
I have ordered, or tried to order pizza from here 5 times. They close 5-6 hours early. Or it takes 3-4 hours for delivery. I had a pick up that I went to go get they took my money and closed. I got there they said that they said that the oven had been shut off hours ago. Which puts them closing at 4pm. Not to mention they are rude and got irritated with me that they took my money and I received no food. I love this pizza place my number one I could eat it every day but the Middletown location is trash.
I hate to give it one star because the pizza is amazing. The customer service is the worst there is in the pizza business. I called told them pick up, the guy responded with, “our delivery is backed up” I repeated it was pickup then he said ok and started to take my order. After telling him, “one large pepperoni and one medium chicken mariachi” he asked if it was pick up or delivery. Then after telling him again he asked what the order was again. I repeated and he repeated it back incorrectly.They told me it would be ready in 20 min. I was there in 25 min. After them taking 5 min to come and speak with me they told me the computer never logged my order and asked me to wait so that they can make the food since they never got around to it.This is the forth time in a row I’ve had a bad experience. After the third I said to myself I’m done getting pizza from there. Today I decided I’d give it another shot. Obviously it was a mistake and while I HATE writing bad reviews the forth time has forced me to do so.
Fast friendly service. Great prices.The pizza is better then more of the pizza places around here. The sandwiches are amazing, but compared to sandwiches from other pizza places they are on the small side.
This is by far the worst pizza place in Middletown. Not because of the food, but because the service. Iv never experienced good service in the 10(ish) times I’ve ordered from here. I’m not sure how management is able to find so many rude employees. Such a shame too, because donatos has always been my favorite, but this donatos is absolutely the worst.
Unfortunately, had eaten nearly half of the pizza before lifting up this slice on the left side and finding a squished cockroach. Concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen because I’ve never seen anything like this before…(I’ve already contacted customer service if you’re going to comment that as a reply)
Pretty inconsistent. Last pizzas: skimpy on toppings, undercooked, and not cut into squares (had to tear the pizza apart). When it’s good, it’s great but it seems like the good pizzas are fewer and further in between
idk whats up with this place but they struggle to get a pizza orders right or to you warm if you get delivery i have just gave up and it makes me sad as i have to drive to cin-day road location to get a good pizza
Great food but bad service. Second time in a row placing a pick up order, waiting the amount of time they told us, only to arrive to find out they haven't even started it yet. Can understand and be forgiving if you are overwhelmingly busy, but when 3 employees are outside smoking....not so much....
Our order was ready ahead of the promised time and everything tasted great! The pizzas were hot and the cheese was gooey! Yum! ?
