the eggs were burnt and the ham was spoiled. good server but the cooks aren't conscientious!
Our dinner was so good that people at other tables were asking us what we were having and if we liked it. It was Maple Bacon Grilled Chicken and it is delicious. Not our first time eating it. Service was great as usual. Fast, friendly.
The food was the food... Great as usual. We only Cracker Barrel on vacation and the food never disappoints. It was the Manager's attitude after we requested to change to a bigger table. We were moved, but she was visibly upset with the request. When I asked she NEVER responded (yes or no...). It showed in her face that we upset her with the request. So much so, that the customers at the table next to us asked if she was going to do it or not. The waitress ended up moving us, but the manager (or whoever had the clipboard with the seating arrangement...) needs training on Customer Service.
It was good but not great. The staff was nice bit there were a few tables that had to ask for the server to come over and take their order. When we got our food the meat was nice and hot but the side were cold or luke warm. It was clean and well kept which was a plus but the bathroom needed supplies. Over all I would probably go back to give them a second chance just because the staff was so apologetic about the wait and the supplies not being stocked. I didn't mention the food situation only because I was so hungry and I didn't care. It all tasted good just the same.
Oh Lordy, loved the chicken-fried pork chops, cooked to perfection and no fat. Finished off with the strawberry shortcake.Everyone here is nice and friendly. Loved my waitress, Kylie, she was awesome. Love the lit kerosene lamps, makes it kinda romantic ?
The waitress was nice, but probably new, and it was busy so I don't blame her for this bad experience. I eat here maybe once every other month. It is usually 4-5 stars. My hash brown casserole was burnt, but no biggie. The sausage patties were very pink on the inside. I politely asked for more sausage because it looked undercooked. She came back a few minutes later and wanted my uneaten sausage. She took it on a plate away with her. A few minutes later she came back with it and said the kitchen told her that no matter how much they cook it, the middle will have a pink look, because of the kind of sausage it is. I took it back but didn't eat it. I just took a bite of my barely cooked biscuit that was gummy in the middle. The table next to us (like a foot away) had to send back their "toast" so it would actually be toasted. My wife's sausage gravy has no sausage in it. Their kitchen may be overwhelmed, so beware. 2/14/22.
It Was Real Good Welcoming and the Service was good. I got my Breakfast in like 15min of being there. Definelty Going Back ?
Expect to wait when coming here. I understand the shortage of staff, but a total wait of 2 hours from when we sat down to eat to get our food was a little ridiculous. Overall, once we got our meals, they were good. A little on the cool side, but still good.
Their service is the worst. They serve your food cold and get your order wrong!
Lemon pepper trout is my go to at Cracker Barrel. Haven't been disappointed yet. The staff is always kind and thorough. Did not have to ask for a refill and they brought my 2 year old granddaughter cake and ice cream for her birthday.
