I wish I had taken pictures, but once our food was out all we could do was stuff our faces-it was that good. Everything comes looking so amazing, but tastes even better. Our server, Kady, was very sweet and gave us some great recommendations. We will DEFINITELY be back. This place has the closest sauce to our Italian relatives, which is a huge compliment. If you haven’t already, go visit this amazing spot!!!
Such coolness! Spaghetti western?! Too cute, and originally delish. Great menu, nice staff and ambiance. Check them out. Don’t know if they have dessert.
Absolutely fantastic!! The husband and I drove by this place for a while and made fun of the name lol. But tonight decided to give it a try, walked in and found my friend from west Central wine running the place! Fantastic wine list and phenomenal food! I swear they have a tiny angry Italian grandma cooking the food in the back?Staff is beyond excellent! Just like west central wine the atmosphere is calm and relaxed and fun at the same time. They sat a family with kids next to us AND THEY WERE CALM LOL! will definitely be back!
Our first time ordering from Bandanas but it won’t be our last time. We ordered the 5-layer lasagna, dinner salad with house made sweet & sour dressing and the appetizer Cheesy Bread. Everything was so delicious. A great local restaurant.
Bandanas have a very good menu to choose from and the choice is hard to decide. I love their pizzas and their salads. Then, look at the sandwiches that are offered and great amount of pasta dishes. I like the servers and they are very friendly people. I hope you will try it!!!!!!!!!!
I've driven by this place several times over the past year or two, but always seemed to miss them. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Sadly, I got my chance to go here and I was disappointed. I really really wanted this place to be a hidden gem. It's an Italian eatery with a Western theme. I guess it's a spaghetti western sort of deal? Anyway, they had 3 beers on draft. A short cost us $5. They serve you soda in a can with a glass of ice for $2. The mushrooms (see below) cost $8.25. It's 4 white mushrooms with a sausage crumble mix. They were topped with parmesean and balsamic vinegar. Most of the ingredients fall out when you take a bite. The taste was alright but nothing astounding. Our meals came with side salads and garlic Italian dressing. Also, a small basket of garlic bread strips. For the meal, we got the Chicken Marsala (pictured below) and the Timber Rattler pasta. The Marsala had a few issues. First, it had fresh sliced mushrooms that were al dente. Basically, they were still mostly raw. The marsala sauce was like a very thin gravy and had a noticeable balsamic vinegar taste. The chicken was breaded and well cooked but wasn't very seasoned. The Timber rattler pasta was a rigatoni dish with some sausage crumbles and sliced bell peppers. It also had a thin creamy Alfredo or bechamel sauce. It also comes with a "bite" which is a Tabasco type sauce you can add into the pasta to liven it up. The pasta didn't have a great deal of flavor. It wasn't bad but I resorted to mixing a good deal of the "bite" in to help it out. It was alright. The portion sizes were alright but not large. Our bill for 2 came out to be a little over $60. So, value for the food was a bit overpriced. All that aside, there were positives. The staff were very nice and polite. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The food was hot and fresh. The front of the restaurant definitely has appeal. They do serve a variety of wood fired pizzas that you can carry out. I hope to order some pizzas one day and give them another shot. Maybe I just got the wrong thing on the wrong night?
We came across this place by chance while visiting for a soccer tourney. What a great experience! FABULOUS service, unique atmosphere, and great food. The chicken parmesan was the best I've ever had. Will find a reason to come back to Middletown just for Bandanas!
The idea of a spaghetti western themed bar & restaurant was lost on me at first, but now that I've been here it's definitely on my list of favorite places - both for going out with my boyfriend and for entertaining out of town folks. We had the meatballs, the Nenni family sausage plate, and split a gluten free crust pizza. The gluten free crust was unremarkable - their regular crust promises to be hand-pressed so I think next time we'll splurge and get the gluten. Everything else was awesome - our server Kate was lovely and the flavors were fantastic. Kate was also awesome with cocktail and bourbon suggestions and we were in absolutely no danger of going thirsty.
Fantastic Gem!This is a beautiful blend of Authentic Italian Cuisine with a Casual Dining Experience. We found the portions to be quite large even though some reviews state the opposite. The food was fresh while the service was fast and attentive.
Food was okay. I found the chicken parm had ham on it, made it salty and was an odd mix with the marinara. Husband ordered lasagna. It was made primarily with sausage. Stuffed mushrooms were good. Found the decor a bit strange for an Italian eatery. Service was okay but won't likely return.
