Amazing the gems you find in small places! We started with some sushi (spicy salmon and Philadelphia rolls) which were excellent. Dinner was Pad Thai for the wife and General Tsao's for me (damn this shellfish allergy). Large portions and very well prepared. My wife said the Pad Thai was the best she has had in a long time and the Tsao's was fantastic. Sapporo beer and plum wine. Don't overlook this place...it may be small but it packs large portions and a TON of flavor and they do carry out. Prices were very reasonable for the high quality. Highly recommend. Just shut up and go there.

Maki has and always will be our favorite local sushi and Japanese restaurant in Mentor and Northeast Ohio, frankly. We were one of Maki's first customers and make it a habit to grab sushi or hibachi at least every other week since they opened. The staff has been so respectful and the food has NEVER disappointed! Anytime we have friends or family in town, we know exactly where to go, MAKI!

Usually love this place but yesterday struck a nerve. Now let me start by saying the food is good. Most of the time really really good. But as I ordered yesterday I was told sushi wasn’t available. No big deal I guess although it seems to be everytime I call sushi isn’t available. 25 minutes later I go to pick up our dinner and I see a sushi chef….making sushi…..and people who were dining in eating sushi. So was the sushi not available or just not available to go? Also when I asked if I could order it as I as standing in the store I was told no it’s not available. Mind blowing that they’d be willing to lose a weekly customer in times like these but oh well. Good luck maki.
We have come here 3 times over the past week. Each and every time the food has been amazing. The tempura is perfect! The ginger dressing for the salad is delicious. And the steak and shrimp hibachi tastes absolutely wonderful!!!
First time did not disappoint it was absolutely amazing 100% recommend coming with family,friends or by hour
I've ordered using Uber Eats twice now and the food is really good! I'd say maybe wait to cook deep fried stuff last min just cause those seem to get cold the quickest, but it's all still very tasty! I also noticed that there's some different options for extra sauces and sides on DoorDash that aren't on Uber Eats. Dont know if that's something you guys can control but figured I'd mention it in the review. Keep it up guys, very good!
Fantastic place! The food is delicious and the portion size is perfect for the price. Their lunch specials during the week are also quite good. Dining space is clean and cozy, and the wait staff are friendly. Top notch quality — highly recommend!
