Prepare to be insulted by your meal: What a Dreadful dining experience. 20 years ago, Jade Tree severed real prepared Chinese food. Now General Taos Chicken = frozen chicken nuggets with instant sauce packets. Neither of us were able to eat our meals. If you are stuck going here, bring your own Trivia or Sweet & Lo packets as you are quickly told No Have! None! if you want some in your weak Oolong tea.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! THE GOOD REVIEWS WERE WRONG. Servers were nice. Canned drinks. Food was terrible. WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had I literally took 3 bites and my stomach hurts I’ve never had such awful Chinese tasted funky. Cartilage in the chicken. Rice was dry. Tasted reheated and old. Honestly, if I could ide give it 0 stars
Nice illustrated lunch menu. Served quickly and food was hot and fresh.
Sunday evening around 5 was a good time as few others were there. Although the one table was outrageously rude with one member constantly smacking their lips then another, maybe the same one, turning on his phone so loud to listen to sports or something that we couldn't hear ourselves. Older folks 50 plus..come on you know better. Food was just ok. I had shrimp lo mein which had medium shrimp instead of the normal salad shrimp which was quite a bonus. My sister had General Tao's chicken which was purported to be slightly spicy. It was not. She liked her won ton soup but it was overly salty. The egg rolls were just ok as was the fried rice. So..overall it was just ok.
The food might be good, but I wouldn’t know. There was nothing vegetarian on the menu. I’m flabbergasted that there wasn’t a single tofu dish.
I have been dining (and recently taking out) at Jade Tree for many years. The owners are very nice and it's like dining at home (if we could cook Chinese food!). My favorites are cashew chicken and pork lo mein.
Disgusting. I ordered my food no problem I get to the restaurant and I order the War Sue Gai , the woman inside was absolutely rude , it should’ve been nine dollars and she charged me 10 and told me you don’t believe me look on the menu or on the menu on your phone handed me my food and walked away. I get home the food was terrible tasted like yesterday‘s chicken maybe even two days ago and the rice was OK it was tolerable , but needless to say I didn’t eat it the gravy was disgusting also. I would not recommend this place to anyone , don’t go there.

Being from out of town, my wife and I were hungry and took a chance. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was about the best Chinese that we've ever had... and we both love Chinese cuisine. It is a cozy little place and fairly clean. I was surprised that we were the only ones there for sit down at 6:30 on a Wednesday. I guess that is better than being crowded. My only suggestion is that they should have a little music playing, not dead silence. I enjoy oriental music at these places. I would call this place Mentor's best kept secret.
