Dibella’s have the best cheese steak sub around. Bread is always fresh!
Long black hair in one of the subs.we order online
I had the most unbelievably bad experience with a staff member at this store. She was rude and acted like a child throughout the relatively simple process of making our sandwiches. She then threw them on the counter at us knocking the bag over and stomped away like a pouting child, it was unreal! It gets better though, she then intercepted my calls not allowing us to speak with management. I attempted to call a half dozen times through the day and following day, with no luck. I eventually spoke with a "manager" but I'm not honestly sure if that was an actual manager. We landed at a resolution of them rebating my card back which never happened. I suspect just like they were incepting and shutting down my initial calls, this individual was pretending to be a manager.Avoid this store at all cost and Adeya is literally the rudest individual I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I'll keep pursing my conversation with the district manager but wanted to ensure I posted publicly as I don't seem to be getting much traction.I NEED A DISTRICT MANAGER TO CALL OR PROVIDE A PHONE NUMBER I CAN CALL THEM AT. Thank you!And PS - I friggin LOVE DIBELLAS! I live in GA and have my father ship the subs to me from time to time because I can't find anything like DiBellas here. I took my girlfriend there upon arriving in OH excited to share their delightful sandwiches only to be treated like human garbage by a woman that apparently gets off on wielding her sandwich making powers! What a bizarre experience that was, in any instance I'll pursue it as long as needed for them to make it right!
I went here for lunch. I only get an hour for my lunch. I ordered my food. Then I waited 10 minutes just to pay for my food because the cashier did not know how to work the register. Then waited an additional 20 minutes just to get 1 sub . 3 people came in after I was there for 10 minutes order, pay, walk out with food before I receive my 1 sub. Maybe if they did a little more work then talking . I wouldn't have wasted my whole lunch. I give the food 5 stars.
Fool me once, shame on me - fool me twice - shame on you. Returned to Mentor store for 3 subs even after a prior bad experience at this store (messing up orders). This time I went into the store instead of ordering on line to decrease chance of a mess up. Wrong. Ordered first sub with oil on side (wife does not like soggy bread). Left store and had to return to get oil that they forgot to give me. Second sub ordered was a cheese only sub. I specifically stated that since cheese is the only protein on the sub, could I get extra cheese. The 10" sub had TWO pieces of cheese on the whole sub! Third sub was ordered with Buffalo sauce - made without buffalo sauce. Bread on all three subs was day old bread - only explanation for rock hard bread that could not be bit into. All three subs and $30 thrown away! NEVER returning to this store.
I was not impressed with the performance of the employees at this location. I was the second of three customers at the time of my visit. I waited 5 minutes for someone to even take my order, with three or four employees behind the counter. The third customer that came in after me, walked out with her order before I received mine, which I found kind of unusual. For the customer ahead of me, the cashier was rather carelessly throwing his food in a bag, and dropped his sub on the floor. He proceeded to pick it up off of the floor, and just it in the man's bag like nothing happened, which is unsanitary to say the least. When someone finally did take my order, the girl mumbled with a mask half over her mouth, and I had to ask her to repeat herself with every single thing she said. After all of that, she got The order wrong and gave me the wrong sized sub. It seemed that the employees just did not take any pride in their work. The food was fine, but not impressive.
Showed up just after 830 about 30 minutes before closing the young man at the grill told me to order a cold sandwich or nothing so I left. Immediately. I wanted a cheesesteak
Ordered today for curbside at 1:20pm. Was there 5 mins early. Called and they said they would be right out. Sat for 30 mins and walked in. The order was just sitting there in the pick up pile all that time. The girl said "oh we were busy" I'm so confused as to why they didnt say that when I called and would have came in. Now i got half hour old food and i tried to call the store and of course nobody ever answers the phone. TERRIBLE service
Subs are consistently incorrect (even when ordering online and the directions are right in front of their faces) and they don’t have a lot of taste. Why pay these extremely high prices when Subway has more taste, cheaper prices, AND they make subs correctly every time? A large sub from Subway is more than filling. Even adding double meat the sub is still cheaper than this place. Pay attention to the bad reviews; they don’t lie. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere. You’ll save money anyway.
I placed an order online and waited 10 min past time to pick it up just to find out it was wrong. I was given the excuse they didn't understand my commens that read as follows....meat, hot, cold, bread, condiments on side. Now, if even the Mgr broke it down you could understand meat, condiments, and bread on the side. Now, all you have left are hot and cold. Hot items and cold items on the side separately as well. I was going 30 min away so I wanted to make it myself. Instead both were fully made sandwiches. 40 min later I leave with my sandwiches, one with the wrong bread, while watching the staff clean and talk instead of attempting to finish off my meal. Then they take another customer while I stop the Mgr who was in the restroom and only takes one sub off. Never again!
