Always love On Tap and their food and drinks. Service was excellent and we sat at the bar and had dinner. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and added bacon and it was delicious! The truffle fries were good but I’ve had better. I should just stick with their regular fries which are good! The buffalo chicken wrap is great too. Also ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were homemade tasting. Will definitely order again.I love the atmosphere here, tons of tvs, multiple bars and lots of and space. Great space for large gatherings and private events. The outdoor patio is fantastic. Nice ambiance even though it’s right by a busy road. They have live music often.
Used to eat at the old place across street. Have eaten here a few times and at other place near Akron, Ohio. This visit ordered On Tap burger, small not many grilled onions and mushrooms on burger. French fries done well. Fries were in one lump from raw to just limp. Warm not hot. Understand this is not the servers fault but the cook staff. Server was willing to take back fries or have another one made. You do NOT send food back or ask for what you asked for originally to be made again in a bar. You are asking for garbage, food from floor, or spit on food to be placed at your table. Another person came to ask about my food but did not identify him self. I explained to him about my food and he went away. My bill was not corrected in any manner and I was just sent on my way with a bad taist in NY mouth ( pun intended) about the food at On Tap on Rt 18 and I71.
We ordered online for curbside tonight (a Wednesday evening at 5pm). I recently had surgery and we were going to be driving past from Cleveland. We arrived 5 mins before our food was supposed to be ready and called in - we were told he would bring it right out. Instead - 35 minutes later my husband called in again. Oops - they had forgotten us. My grilled perch was cold and congealed - cold fries, burger, tots. Not warm or even cool. Cold. No condiments or plastic ware that was requested in the order. How do you eat a salad or grilled perch with your bare hands? And did they make it right?? Absolutely not - my husband walked the food in and they refunded us - so No food and we wasted an hour of our lives. I used to brag about this place. We will no longer be giving them our business.
Have only been 2 times and both time the service, food and beverages were amazing. If you are in the area or even if you aren't and are looking for a new favorite place then you need to try it out. You won't be disappointed.
Burger was excellent. I got the patty melt. It came with fresh cut fries. The first patch were cold but we asked for fresh ones and they came out immediately. Very good, would go back when traveling through that area again.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. Everything I got was very delicious. I loved the chicken fingers. Our experience was so well that I asked to speak to the manager, he was very nice and appreciative!
Food was great and service was fast. Went during happy hour and the litre beers were amazing for only $6
All in all the place was not bad, let's start with the good. The house made soup, Loaded Baked Potato, was very good. Creamy, yummy and served very hot just as a good soup should be. The beer selection was plenty and our server was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, our hostess was not pleasant at all and they served us cold fries that seemed to be made hours ago. Simple mistake, right? When we asked the server for some fresh ones, which she promptly abliged, the replacements fries were not any better. It seems they just don't make the seemingly yummy parmesan truffle fries fresh. Overall, just ok. But hey, could have just been a bad day because the other reviews are very good.
Service was slow (initially waiting to be met by a server, receiving soft drinks at one point then beers significantly later). But understood if the reason was a staffing shortage. Not really sure. There’s a wide variety of beers to choose from here. I took a gamble on the chicken stir fry and lost. A bed of rice-a-roni with chicken and broccoli on top and lots of some unusual, brown, salty garlic sauce. Maybe wings and beer next time…
Was a perfect experience would recommend it to everyone. Our waitress Randi was exceptional also. Food was so perfect. Hamburger, oh my delicious!
