Longhorn is a great place for lunch or dinner. Their menu selection serves just about anyone's taste. I like that you can walk straight to the bar if you don't need table service. The atmosphere is much better than their competitors. The bread that is brought out is a very nice start. The portions are a very nice size. The seasoning on the steaks are terrific. We've been Longhorn customers for a while and will continue to be.
First visit. Service was great. Our waitress was on the ball and quickly responded to all our needs. Loved the vinegarrette dressing on our salads. The petite sirloin was cooked perfectly as was my chopped steak. Loved the mushrooms , onions and sauce on my chopped steak. Enjoyed the baked potatoes smothered in butter and sour cream. My daughter added a lobster tail to her steak dinner. It was maybe about 6 Oz. On the small side, but delicious. Decor was very nice, comfortable and clean. We were pleasantly surprised the such a nice meal was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.
Great food and service. I take the 45 minute drive to go to this location because the one in independence is just awful. The waitresses are always friendly and the drinks are always good except for the fact that they're a little slow on bringing your bar drinks. But other than that, this place is pretty great and you can tell by the amount of people who are lined up to get inside here at dinner time and all those who are waiting in their cars. It's busy for a reason.Great job Longhorn.
My husband and I used a birthday gift card to have a rare dinner out. Our server was Nicole and she was stellar in menu knowledge, service, and last but certainly not least, personality. She even took care to adhere to my personal dietary restrictions. We will return soon and wish we knew there was such a great dinner destination so close. Kudos to the entire staff.
Great service as always. Normally get great food too.. but not this time. 3 of us ordered the ribeyes medium. All came well. All of us thought flavor off. One got sick. Other 3 (had total 6 people) thought meals were OK. Of those 3, 2 of their steaks were over done too. We did enjoy the shrimp & mushroom appetizers & salads ... which tasted great! They were busy & servers we doing a wonderful job keeping up.
Dalton provided outstanding service. He was perfect! Food was fresh, generous, and tasty and well presented in a very timely manner. I am very choosy about my salad. I cannot stand limp, slimy greens! Longhorn always makes the freshest salads, served chilled!
The wife and I go here two to three times a year and has consistently the best food. They are always busy which speaks for itself if you are the owner. If you want good food, you'll get it here. If you go early before 5-530 pm they'll get you a seat right away. Have called for carry out at prime time and expect maybe a two hour wait. It's that busy.
Food was excellent. Steaks were cooked exactly as we asked them to be. Service was super. Jenna did an excellent job checking on us without being to much...and she made sure the coffee stayed full and hot.
Excellent steak and very friendly service. Usually, when I frequent a steak house, I order a baked potato. On this day, I was with a friend and she ordered a baked sweet potato. She asked me to try some. I was timid at first, but it looked delicious. Immediately, my mouth started salivating and the aroma triggered hunger to take my utensil and try this sweet potato. I dipped my spoon into the potato, took a bite, and wow; how great and good it was. The sweet potato was perfectly baked. On the sweet potato was melted butter and cinnamon sugar. ? Words cannot describe my experience. As for me, at that moment, it was euphoric. My experience, that evening, was divine.
Went here the other night with two friends and their son. Server was polite and even allowed us to easily move to a booth in case the kid got loud. Steak was very good as well as the rest of the food we ordered. Will return and recommend as it might be the best Longhorn I’ve been to.
