Good service and good food. Server was flexible when my sister told her no onions. I know right, who doesn't like onions. Sashimi was on point and presented nicely. 3% charge for credit card use, disappointing.
We ordered online for delivery and were not impressed with the presentation of the food at all. The sushi looked thrown together and what was supposed to be tempura ended up being soggy and the philly roll fell apart. We also weren't sure if we got the two philly rolls we ordered or if two rolls were squished in together. There was hair in the lo mein. The pan-fried potstickers were steamed. All around this was not worth the price we paid. We will not be quick to order again, we were looking for a Twiisted substitute since they were closed, and this came nowhere close.
The food is okay, the portions are small, and the price is not worth what you get. They serve average Asian dishes that you could get at any asian restaurant, in a fancy building. Also if you pay credit card there is a percentage charge added on.
Visited HOH for the first time in a long while this weekend. Food and drinks were fantastic. Can’t wait to eat my leftovers. I really liked the Honey Walnut chicken. It’s got a sweet flavor but delicious. The Mongolian Beef was also really good. The fried rice was just ok. Had a Smokey flavor which was different. They mentioned they had a new chef so it could’ve been a learning curve.Our service was just ok. Our waitress would disappear and we asked for items that just never came. We asked for water and we ended up asking the manager for water. She just seemed very distracted. It could’ve just been a bad night for her.Love the atmosphere here. And when they open the doors in the front it’s even better. Definitely recommend and plan to return again. Hopefully sooner than last time!
If I could leave zero stars I would, I used to really like this place because they have the best spicy mayo in my opinion but it’s definitely not worth being treated negatively at a restaurant establishment. As soon as we walked in, everyone was on their phones & ignoring the very few customers they did have. We were seated & basically ignored the entire meal, our server was negligent, rude & seemed to be inexperienced. I know this place is going down hill but it’s very sad & unfortunate to see. Still tipped 20% for bad service cuz I refuse to go anywhere & tip under 20% but I expected better. Extremely disappointed. Look elsewhere to eat!
Had a bad experience dining here with my significant other. We’ve been here a couple times and always liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, this time was different. Our server came off very rude and in a rush. not checking up on us when we got our drinks served from the bar( very sour martini btw). Someone else brought our food out and what I ordered was incorrect. the server forgot a sushi roll and fried rice that I ordered and she also completely ordered the wrong sushi roll for me. I thought it was fine and that she could just put the order in whenever she checked on us and I wasn’t gonna complain on the sushi being wrong. She never even came back to check on us once with either our drink or food being brought out by 2 different people. When she finally came to us after 15 mins into our meal ,I asked her where the rest of my order was and she said that I didn’t order it. she finally checked back in her server notebook she said she forgot the fried rice and pressed the wrong button for the sushi.. I also sent back the martini I ordered and the bartender made it very clear that she was offended by me not liking her drink. All in all the food is average and the service is terrible. I’ll never dine at this restaurant again. Worst server I’ve ever had. We went to the restaurant next door and ordered a drink after that experience.
Love this place! Over the last 3 years it has become our go to and the food is always fresh and delicious! We love the lemon chicken, peach schnapps chicken, the duck, sushi, and few other items. Cocktails are delicious and not watered down like most places. Great service and everything is always clean. Love this place!
My husband and I had a very enjoyable experience this evening at the Medina location. The ambiance was great. No need to shout over the sound of loud music or screaming kids. The manager, Michael, came over to talk with us and get to know us as we had never been there for dinner before. He checked back later to make sure we were pleased with our meal and the service. Our server was just as pleasant. The food, from the appetizer to the dessert, was very good. I recommend House of Hunan
One of my favorite places to get Thai, Sushi, & Chinese food!One of THE best General Tso Chicken I've every had.If your are in the Medina Square area and in the mood for this type of food, definitely recommend it. Then shop/walk around the Square after.
This restaurant is pretty good. The chicken was very good and well seasoned. The waitress was a little bit in a hurry but did a good job with refilling our waters. (This is the general t’so chicken)
