My partner and I really enjoyed the food during our first visit. On the second visit, two different servers (maybe the owner) were extremely rude to us. We walked in and took a seat on our own. My back was bad and I needed to sit. Nobody else was in line. We were yelled at because they hadn’t finished cleaning the table. We offered to move and I explained about my back and then the next person yelled at us as well in front of everyone in the restaurant. As much as enjoyed the pancakes, I won’t go back.
Best onion rings ever! Friendly, efficient staff! Good tasting food!! Excellent service.
All I can say is if you get there and it’s busy find something else to do and COME BACK because it is WORTH the wait! MY tastebuds signaled approval as soon as I saw the bottle of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce on the table. I got one biscuit with sausage gravy, two perfectly cooked eggs over easy, exceptionally WELL DONE corned beef hash, and rye toast. The Crispy savory goodness of breakfast served by friendly staff is EXACTLY what I came for! “How is everything?” Asks our server… YES! is my ten-year old son’s response as he revels in his GIANT choc-chip pancake and thick crispy bacon. Naturally he washes everything down with chocolate milk. We both came hungry and left satisfied! Bravo Team Griddles! ?
We thought it was really good. Food didn't take long to get to the table at all. Bacon was cooked and crisp (I HATE getting raw, stringy bacon at breakfast diners). Eggs were perfectly over easy. Pancakes weren't burnt.
Worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Starting off with giving our phone number to call us when table was ready. Never called. Waffle was hard and burned on outside. Not done on inside. Hashbrowns we’re greasy tasting. My wife ordered eggs over easy. Yokes we’re busted. Corned beef hash had no taste. I’m usually don’t fill out reviews or complain but this was so bad I had to.
Late Sunday morning breakfast- place was crowded, which was a good sign. The wait time was amazingly short. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was outstanding!

First time breakfast for both of us. I recommend staying far away from tasteless sausage gravy and store bought cold biscuits. It’s been 8 hrs and my stomach is still not sure what to do with it. French toast was ok but it would be hard to screw that up. Service n coffee were great. Place was busy so maybe just me. Might try a lunch sometime.
Never disappointed when going to the Grittle...big portions of food with faster then expected service considering its always busy.
Nice small Cafe in the heart of Medina. Food was delicious, ended up getting the Breakfast Bowl, consisting of hash browns, eggs, cheese, a biscuit and sausage gravy. My server took great care of me, checking on me frequently. Server's knew a lot of the customers that came in from prior visits. Says alot about a business when they have returning customers. Keep up the great work.
