My experience with Applebees used to be overall positive, except at this location. Its been multiple times now where my food out of everyones at my table has been forgotten by staff. Or like today, my friends and i got to a table that wasnt accomadating for a group to chat. We came there for a birthday celebration but where given two tables connected without any on the other side for conversation. Not only that, we had asked if we could go to the booth we where told by the waitress that "its only for a party of 8" well, during this shift same time frame it was given to a table of 6 that didnt have a reservation. Even though it was empty for more than half the time there we were not allowed there but instead allowed in a 4 person booth to squeeze in a party of 5. Id like to point out as well, this party of 6 had children which are smaller for a table of supposedly "Party of 8". And this isnt the only thing either. Our waitress didnt give us any silverware or napkins, and didnt fill our drinks once empty. Itd go 10 mins or more without refills. They even got my order wrong as I had specifically asked for no broccoli in my food, once taken back they didnt even make a new one. Instead they took the broccoli out but pieces of this broccoli were LEFT in it. Thats why you make a whole new plate, so instead of doing so or getting my order right to begin with i had to spend a good portion of my dinner trying to pick out the pieces. What if I was allergic? My stomach cannot physically handle Broccoli which is why I asked for the alfredo to have it removed when made. This isnt the first time ive had my food either forgotten, and or mismade despite clear words being spoken to them. Overall, a terrible experience today. I feel sad to say as I do like Applebees in other locations, but this location as always had a factor to dissappoint me and my friends who came to eat dinner there with me as well.
The workers were nice not enough help they were rushed. My ribs were so small a waste of money hardly any meat for the same price. The place was clean.The sign of the times.
Currently very short staffed. Waited to be seated with no explanation as to why since there was barely any customers there. Front of house could use some training in hospitality. Our server did make up for the wait. He was very friendly and attentive. Overall a quick bite out to eat took us 2 hours so I don't think we will be back until things improve.
Great place for the family to go. Especially if you're looking for a late night, affordable, quick bite to eat.Mary is awesome! Me and the boys try to always request to sit in her section.Fast service even with the low staff.
I wish I could rate this at less than 1 star. Absolutely terrible experience!!!!! We were informed they were short staffed in the kitchen, but we were fine with the wait. However it took a hour and a half to get our food. This again would have been fine but our food was cold. ICE cold. The mashed potatoes were not edible. Our entire table couldn't eat their food. When the manager did come over, she stood there for a second and then walked away without saying a word. When she finally came back she offered no help at all. I have never had such a bad dining experience in my life and I will NEVER go back here again. We went for my sister's birthday, which was ruined by this experience. We had a three year old with us who didn't even get to eat and left starving. Shouldn't have to leave a restaurant to have to go to another to eat. The only positive was our waitress, Mary. 5 stars to Mary. -5 stars to Applebee's.
They had no one show up for work. They were only able to seat you but you had to wait about 15-20 min. My cousin ordered a salad and it have the dressing on it and we asked the bar maid for and she never came back until we were ready to leave.
We went to the Applebees in Medina, on Pearl Road. We got there around 7:30 pm, and about 30% of the restaurant was full. When we walked in, it took 14 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that we were there, and another 5 minutes to be seated. We ordered the Combo appetizer to start, and though it took quite awhile to get to us, it was really good. I ordered the quesadilla burger, and my husband ordered fiesta lime chicken. When our food came, it looked good... until I took a bite of my burger. My mouth filled with a sour metallic taste, and when I looked at the burger, it was almost completely raw. I ordered it pink, but there is a huge difference between medium and mooing! My stomach immediately started flipping, and I was sure I was going to be sick. When I looked at my plate, there was animal blood mixed in with the mayo all over my sandwich and onion rings. I couldn't take another bite, and had it taken off the bill. It's now 6 hours later, and my stomach is still not right. I love meat that is medium rare, and I'm not too picky about pink juice from steak, but this burger still had the white fat in the pile of mush I was served. A LOT of it. On the flip side, my husband enjoyed his chicken.
People are nice, for us alright for what it is. But the service was slow. I understand staffing issues are an issue currently but I could clearly see half the staff just standing and talking half the time. It took about 12 minutes once seated to get a water. Then another 10 to place an order. I'll say the food was out quick which was nice
Most disgusting restaurant in Medina county. Come in at open and the place is filthy, food and trash on floor. Bathroom is nasty and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. the staff is standing around taking selfies. Takes 12 minutes to even be greeted and drink order taken. very disappointing every time we come in here, idk why we keep trying.
