We arrived on Friday evening at 630 and was given a 35 min wait. The staff was hustling. 2nd time eating here after a long wait between visits. We didn't care for the sides on the first visit as all was very basic. Big upgrade in the food this time with green beans being the star. Seriously. Nice big portions, nice bark on the meats and a good selection of bourbon and beers. A great place to enjoy the patio and quiet country setting.

This was the first time my husband and I ate here. My son and daughter in law have been before and said it was delicious so they invited us this time. My grandson likes the pretzels and mashed potatoes.
Food was good. Charcuterie board is the best I’ve ever had, lots of variety and everything was flavorful. I had the salmon and it was delicious but the asparagus was way over done , my daughter had the Reuben and it was tough, seemed to be sliced in the wrong direction because it was stringy. Our server (Beth) was very nice. She was extremely attentive and good at her job!
We ate here for the first time today and it was a very good, Larry the owner thanked us personally and checked on our food. The pork chop dinner was fantastic as well as the brisket, tender and full of smoke flavor! Drinks were fair priced and the service was outstanding! I was looking for a place that my wife and I could grab some lunch and came across The Nook. We were very impressed. We thought at first that the prices seemed a little bit high but you get some much food and it is so delicious that we decided it is not overpriced at all. We experienced friendly and timely service and will be back I’m sure.
First time here and I gotta say this is a one of kind experience. The ambience, the food and the service is all on point. Seeing Bruce doing art on an easel as the entertainment and vibe of the place is great.I order the St. Patrick's day special, Smoked Prime Rib with Mash Potatoes, Green Beans, a side of Ajou and creamy horseradish sauce. The skin of the prime was absolutely delicious and it was cooked perfectly as requested. I went with a medium well to be cautious but they cook it exactly how you want it. I would get it medium next time I go. Everything was seasoned to perfection and I don't have single bad thing to say about this place.Must visit and enjoy the experience!
Late lunch on Saturday. The place was beautiful. Staff very helpful and attentive. The food? Unbelievable, the smothered smoked wings were incredible. my wife's ribs, off the bone tender and well, my burger was top notch. Could not leave without trying the cheesecake. Ended up taking it home, but probably one of the best I have every had. We will be back. Thanks for the great experience.
Great experience! Drove past this place hundreds of times over the years when it was the prior establishment. Decided to try The Nook when plans didn’t work out for another restaurant.Service was friendly and prompt. The side salad was huge with homemade croutons and dressing. All the entrées at our table were great! There was a mix-up where my mom didn’t get an item she ordered, but it was not a huge deal. The Brussels sprouts were probably the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The portion sizes are not huge but they’re plenty. No one left feeling hungry, that’s for sure.We’re so excited we tried this place and looking forward to returning!
My experience at The Nook was great food and a awesome environment! The food portion sizes are more than filling, and the cheesecake is to die for! The best experience watching Bruce freehand drawing. All around awesome! I cannot wait to come back.
