Good people who make great food. Service is always on point. Portions are more than you can eat in one setting. Sorry no pics I had a slice of veggie pizza. Yum!
I ordered a calzone and a pasta dish, 2 deserts for delivery. I don't usually complain, but the calzone was so bad we threw it away. It seemed like it had maybe been frozen? It was wet and the dough so tough you couldn't pull it to bite it. Really, really bad. The pasta dish was not terrible, and the deserts and side salad never came. Won't go back there, very disappointed.
Loved this little Italian Restaurant. Great stuffed shells and the portions are HUGE. Come with an appetite and leave with a Smiley...
Best pie in ths world. Ngl you are a dummy if you won't try the best in the world. Ive had it all from everywhere..., and thier pie is the best. So good it kind of ruins all other pies because of how good they do in the whole service and attention and atmosphere and the whole menu is to die and or kill for. It's truly that good. My mother and I visited Smileys on Mother's Day. Staff was greeted us as we entered and were friendly, welcoming and responsive. We both had the chicken parm, which was excellent! The homemade rolls were warm and delicious. What a great Mom and Pop place to eat. I can't wait to take my wife there the next time we are in Massillon.
Massillon’s downtown is creepin’ on a come up. It has beautified in the past few years and is nice to take a stroll through. As things continue to change, Smiley’s is still the small-town centerpiece, still going strong after many years. One of the best things here is how the staff take pride in their jobs and make you feel at home. Mr. Smiley himself works in the kitchen and is approachable; he’s an honor to talk to. The food is plentiful and I’m in love with their Alio Olio…I wanna dip my elbows in it…SOOO good. They have a big menu and you will leave stuffed like a teddy bear. I really like this place and definitely wanna come back (I live three hours away). Kudos to Mr. Smiley and his wonderful staff!!
Fantastic lil piece of Italian Heaven! Food was great, service was amazing! Our server was super friendly, personable and on point (didn't grab her name, headwrap with hat on)! Entire staff was great! Priced perfectly for the large portions! Highly recommend and we will be returning soon!
Got takeout from Smiley’s tonight and we’ve used them a few times for catering. Food and people are always great. Didn’t have time to cook tonight and their $10 for veal parm beats $10 fast food any day! Definitely recommend.
Smiley's is a family-owned and run eatery where the staff cares about what they serve. Although all of the pastas are boxed instead of being home-made, the choice of sauces is vast and they are very good. From my multi-visit experiences everything can be customized including the sauces. Pizza can be had by-the-slice on a NY-style thin crust or ordered fresh with your choice of toppings. A fun place to go in downtown Massillon.
