Still love Joey's specials and everything on the menu. We try to get there at least a couple times a month. Always friendly service! These guys and gals work hard!!!!

Joey is the best. Not only does he greet his customers his food is fabulous. I'm a chicken wing and fries fan and Joey's has everywhere beat. I've been from here to Oregon, into the Carolinas, and then up north to Michigan and I've never found wings like at Joey's. Always cooked perfect, no fatty skin, great flavor and moist...ah and the burgers can't be beat either. Honestly I don't think any of the food at joeys can be topped. If you want great food at a good price definitely stop by and see joey

First time. Very popular local place with long history in Massillon (1891) and claims to have been a stage coach stop and post house. Quick service, with owner or manager checking if we were having a good meal. Food was very good. Best coleslaw ever - crisp and fresh. Perch was excellent, taste was perfect (but with perch, the filet is rather small - serving was 3 perch filets). Fries OK. Hamburgers looked excellent. Good prices. Large drink menu. Parking might be a problem during peak times (parking is in back lot or street parking).

First time and last time. Party of 10. Joey was very nice at first. The waitress, not so much. Three of us ordered the 12 oz New York Strip steak, medium well. One of them came back well done. Joey replaced the steak without hesitation. The steaks, although thin, were seasoned to taste, but had too much connective tissue for my taste. The issue that we couldn't get an answer for was the bill; the entrees came with two sides. The sides were clearly listed into two groups, regular ($3.00) and premium ($3.50). The four of us that chose entrees all chose at least one of the premium sides, if not two. We assumed that we'd incur a 50-cent up-charge for the premium sides, but they ended up adding $4.00 for each premium side to the bill (no mention of any up-charge by the waitress when ordering). We questioned the charges after we'd paid. Joey tried to explain the charges (something about salads, but he wasn't making any sense to us (we're 54-88)). The dinner crowd was forming and he was in too much of a hurry to try to understand our complaint. His attitude quickly dimmed and when he realized we'd already paid, he hurriedly pulled a five dollar bill from his wallet and tossed it onto the table, and that's all he had to say about that, lol. We left the money there. No skin off of his back. He has enough regulars to be happy.

4.5 Stars. It has been a very long time that we visited a restaurant for the first time and were personally greeted by the owner. What a wonderful way to make your customers feel welcome. The food and service were very good. We will definitely be back to visit and enjoy a meal!!!

Never disappointed! The food is always delicious and fresh... for a great price too! My husband is also a fan of the whiskey selection.

First time there and they made us feel like regulars! Owner introduced himself and shook out hands. Friendly staff and patrons. Good food and prices!

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always excellent, the prices are great, and the staff is friendly. You may even be treated to a visit with Joey himself.

Love their shrimp and shoestring fries. You get a big portion too. Prices are reasonable. Joey comes around and greets you every time. Very nice and friendly place and atmosphere.

Very disappointing experience. First, all the prices have been raised. Wings went from a dozen to 5 or 10 wings (but the wings still cost the price of a dozen). I ordered an all American burger without cheese..twice. So what do I get? 2 slices of American cheese. To top it off, I ordered home fries to find out later that the potatoes weren't ready.Usually they're good on orders..tonight they werent.
