Quality old school Italian. Huge portions. The stuffed peppers are off the chain. The pepperoni rolls could use more pepperoni and cheese for my taste . Lasagna was very cheesy and sauce was very good . My wife’s chicken parm was really good.Kinda of a long wait but I think anywhere you go people are struggling with help these days so we were just happy to have a nice meal. We’ll be back ! Waiters were very friendly and you could tell they were doing their best to keep up .
Service was great, big portions, however my husband and I are from NYC and searching for a great Italian restaurant. We were a little disappointed because pasta sauce was too sweet as well as the house dressing for salad. The veal, chicken and eggplant are frozen patties not what we expected which is "real veal cutlets, home made eggplant parmesan and fresh chicken parmesan." Ohio has a lot of catching up to do with its food !
Best so far. Definitely our new place. Server was great. Nice young man. Great service. Food is some of the best. Can't wait to try the pizza.
We had a wonderful experience at Bella Sera! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding! I do recommend making a reservation. We went at 4pm on a Saturday night, and the place was full! My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak and said it was amazing! Highly recommend!
Wow did we enjoy this place..it's small so I recommend going early or get carry out but damn was it good
Best restaurant ever! The sauce is perfection, portions are huge, wonderful staff - you won't find a better place to enjoy a meal. I'd give them 10 stars, if possible!
First of all I can say that the negative reviews must have hit the restaurant on an extremely bad day/night. We've been going here on a routine basis for about 4 years now and have never had a sub-par meal. We've had a wide range of different dishes, including the pizza and it all has been excellent. The meal sizes are huge with the famous pepperoni rolls being the size of a woman's fist. We've also always had excellent service. There are 2 waitresses that are sisters and they provide excellent service even when one of them is the only one working. My one negative comment would be that the guy who worked during the day was too politically verbose with a negative slant to his comments. I just don't want to hear that stuff while I'm trying to have lunch. However, my last few times there, he hasn't been there~thank goodness.
We got take out . Everything was delicious! It was our first time dining at Bella Sera. The portions were huge. My grilled chicken salad will end up being 2 meals for me. My husband had the chicken parm and that will be 2 meals for him as well. We each ate a pepperoni roll as well. They are delicious ? We will definitely return
Honestly one of my favorite places ever! When my husband first took me out there (it his by his office an hour away from our home) I was confused as it kind of looks like a hole in the wall of this very blah looking strip mall. But then we ended up having some of the best food and service! So now we all long to go here whenever we are in the area.My daughter had a volleyball tournament in the area so we were excited to go here afterwards. It was very busy so we had to wait. When we got seated they were so apologetic. It was so sweet, but we could see how busy they were and felt that they got us in pretty quickly under the circumstances. They gave us an extra pepperoni roll and two free desserts for the wait which was way above and beyond any expectations. Service was stellar!!I feel like the past two years it has been increasingly more difficult to find dining experiences like this. Prices are going up, staffing is short and spread thin, food is more mediocre. So by time you are finished you regret not just cooking at home. But here it was like they havent been affected by any of this. Food was Amazing!! Service was fast, pleasant and knowledgeable. We left there feeling like the wait, the calories, the money, was all worth it. And we still each had leftovers where I didn't have to cook the next day! Bonus!!I can't speak highly enough about here! Normally I would have more pictures, but we attacked our food pretty instantly. I'll have to do my photography and videos like I normally do next time we are there.
Date night gem! The salads had fabulous house vinaigrette and were fresh, cold and crisp. I was impressed. Then comes a basket of bread, or so it seemed. Lifting the cloth revealed four piping hot, dripping with garlic butter pepperoni rolls each the size of a softball. How many adjectives? Best. Outstanding. Outta bounds. Delicious. Satisfying. Over and over, so good I had to remember I ordered lasagna. The pasta was perfect, the sauce incredibly flavorful and it was covered with cheese. My wife’s sausage and peppers were fantastic. Great service, momma behind the bar made the recipes and the ambiance was incredibly Italian bistro. Outstanding food, good prices and I took extra pepperoni rolls home for the family. Highly recommend, had to look for it when I arrived as it’s tucked in the corner in the middle of the plaza but wow, I can’t wait to return!
