On a road trip with family and saw Perkins on the map! We had to stop because ours closed 10 years ago! ?We were disappointed. The food was ok (bacon was good), the table was dirty and sticky, and the window sill was dirty with fruit flies. Our breakfast meals came with margarine (gross!) but we were given butter when asked. Maple syrup was the only syrup choice. I got a blueberry muffin to enjoy during the remaining time of the road trip. It was delicious.I really wish locally I still had a Perkins to go to with the cleanliness we had when they were in Western New York.
Loved the Belgium waffle! Great taste. Included 2 eggs and bacon.For those that like their coffee a bit strong, you will like their coffee.Service was a bit slow, but our server did a good job.Restaurant looked clean and felt welcoming.
Delicious food, served on time.My only complaint is the dated look giving it a dismal ambiance. Makes me wonder if this food chain is coming to an end, which would be sad because Perkins has always been a favorite of mine.
Great food and service, very affordable
Food is great but our server took forever to take our order and bring us our food. Other tables were served way before us. I don't want this to take away from the quality of food because it was exactly what we ordered and were all happy with it.
Not only was the food made perfect, but the service from the moment we walked in the door was impeccable. Everyone was so nice and attentive even our fellow customers. I'd given up on Perkins based on our inner city restaurants, but this experience has restored my faith in them and I will travel out of my way anyday to eat here. ❤
I typically run hot, like I'm always warm. Not at this restaurant. I was chilled and my wife and daughter were cold. My wife said the women's room couldn't have been more than 45-50°. All 3 of our orders were slightly wrong, not enough for us to send them back. My daughter found a hair in her food and we never saw our waitress after she dropped off our food. After waiting 20 minutes we went to the register and asked for our bill. Paid and left. We make a point to hit Perkins in Sandusky every time we go and this was our daughter's first time at one. Let's just say after this it more than likely will be any of our last time at one with how bad everything was.
The friendliest people on Earth. Food came out very fast and we drooled over the muffins. But didn't buy one :) Maybe next time
Wasn't very busy for dinner at 6p Service was very fast. Waitress was nice and attentive. The food was good. Would definitely go back.
We went 30 miles out of the way for this and it was well worth it! They make the best omelets anywhere. The food and the service were both excellent. Our server was very friendly, fast, and professional. There was Apple Pie Ala mode & a chocolate chip cookie involved too. Sorry I slacked on the pic.
