Food good service bad ordered hot and sour soup which was extremely spicy menu nor server mentioned spice levels will not compansate when asked to return it or substitute for another less spicy soup terrible customer service at paying time were asked to pay without a receipt presented no business ethics people beware
The restaurant is VERY worn down. It’s in a newish building, but the inside is dirty and scratched up everywhere! If you aren’t going to clean the place perhaps white seating isn’t the best option. The walls had chunks missing and half done paint. We only stayed because the chow down cincy group recommended. So we thought we would give it a try and maybe the food would make up for it. We were offered a room temperature almost hot bottle of water with no ice or a glass? Eventually I asked for one and a plastic cup was provided. My feet stuck to the bathroom floor as the handle on the toilet was just broken off and laying on top of the tank. We discussed two different apps and only ordered one. Somehow two came to the table. We ate them and paid for them, but it would have been nice had the waiter listened. The service felt like we were bothering them on their break or something. It was just a gross experience and unfortunate we left hungry with nearly $100 down the drain. ?
We have been regularly ordering from here and the dishes are incredible every single time. The Dum Biryanis are our favorite along with the Kodi tandoori chicken. The Mughalai chicken with butter naan tastes heavenly. On top of all, the staff is extremely courteous and accommodating.
This is the 3rd Indian spot I’ve tried since moving to Cincy. And this is my favorite by far! Their garlic naan was great, even as takeout. The flavor was wonderful on my chicken tikka masala and the bismati rice was nice and fluffy. Their mango lassi was wonderful also, plenty of mango and not too yogurty. They had my go order ready in 15 mins. Will be back!
The restaurant is in a good location. Good ambience and friendly staff. The food was good, the crispy plain dosa could have been better though. They provided a ginger sauce which is quite rare.
BEST INDIAN FOOD YOU WILL EVER HAVE!! My husband and I have tried many different Indian spots and Godavari is by far the BEST!! The flavor is out of this world delicious. The butter chicken it sooooo amazing with a side of garlic naan everything is sooo flavorful.
We went here on a Saturday night for dinner around 9.30PM. We ordered Rasam idly and Kothu Paratha(veg). We felt both items tasted average and hence the 3 stars. One additional star for the hospitability. Attached here is an image of how rasam idly looked.
This is by far the best restaurant in Mason area. we have tried the below items - 1. Dal 2. Butter Chicken 3. Chicken Tikka Masala 4. Rice and Nan Food quality is really good and restaurant is also clean.
Got the 1. Vijayawada Boneless Chicken Biryani (4/5) and 2. Thagubothu Kodi vepudu (4/5). Both are good. But not exceptional. The staff were friendly and polite.
Friendly people and delicious food!
