This place always makes me happy. Worth all the money. I usually make my own pizza with all the veggies. Being vegetarian, this custom pizza is a delight for my tummy and valet. Recently I have started liking the cheesy garlic pesto sticks. The staff at this place is very cordial and does awesome job. I strongly recommend this place to every pizza lover.
Food is really good, tastes fresh and flavorful. But the place is badly understaffed. The employees that are there are working hard, but having only three people during a lunch rush is tough. My carry-out order was 20 minutes late, which again I don't blame the folks working, they just need one or two more people on staff during lunch.
Went at 7:45 on a Wednesday. Staff was nice but wow that pizza was not worth any money.I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. They didn't have any chicken which is forgivable so I subbed in some ham. Instead of red onions there were red peppers. No BBQ sauce at all. It wasn't really cut at all making it a pain to rip apart. Then got charged for a custom pizza.Also ordered a pepperoni pizza. All the ingredients were fine, but again it was cut terribly. Also got charged for a custom pizza.I don't like leaving bad reviews but this was exceptionally poor. Just go to mod pizza next to liberty center.Update from the day after: I filled out the contact-us website form and I'll update this review if this experience is rectified.Update 5 days after filling out form: haven't heard anything back from anyone. Regardless if I ended being reimbursed, I would still recommend avoiding this blaze pizza.
The service and speed at this location in Mason has become so poor you should literally close the doors until it’s under control. Pizza is great too, it’s a shame. It takes so long that the last 4 times I’ve tried to get a pie for lunch I ended up walking out and down the way to another spot. Hope it gets better, but there’s never any visible leadership in there.
Mar 16 2022. After my last review again went on this day to Take Advantage of pi day reward and again got a disappointing experience. Our pizza got burned and we tasted carbon instead of crust. Pizza baking guy looks utterly confused on what pizzas he is baking and who they belong to. Check latest pics for reference. I had to throw it. Btw it’s a To Go order. I am done with Blaze pizza now.This happened on Apr 11 2021 at around 7:30 pm. Restaurant is in very bad shape w.r.t cleanliness.I was there for almost 45 min and no staff attempted to clean the food preparing area - counters at all. In fact I observed same behavior last 2 times I went there (Mar-Apr 2021). Sorry to say that even if your feel that food tastes good I am not going back to Blaze purely because of your lack of cleanliness. All staff is happily joking round but no one attempted to clean. Not sure how management of this location is doing. Also the shape of pizza is not round when they pressed in the machine .. came out as something .... almost 5 items are out at 8 pm when you have 2.5 more hours to go .. spinach red pepper mushrooms ..all are out .. then what is the point of having pizza there .. I am attaching pictures for everyone's reference and there you can see ..your food preparing area ..floor with gloves - masks - etc .. see how food is there on counters where they put toppings .. pathetic ... sorry Blaze .. you are trending downwards ..and you lost a customer ..
This place was filthy. We ate here for lunch about an hour after they opened for the day. It was obvious that the floor had not been swept and the counters had not been wiped. They were not busy when we arrived, and there were 5 people working, so there's no excuse for the state the dining room was in. I gave them 3 stars because our food did come out quickly, as ordered, and tasted good.
I tried to call the store a number of times to speak to a manager about our latest experience but no answer. I did not want to write a bad review but... my husband and I came in on March 23rd for dinner and I was absolutely shocked at how dirty the restaurant was. Not only the lobby, but the kitchen area. The plastic shields along the line were filthy and the area were the pizzas were being prepared was filthy as well. All of the employees seemed oblivious to the state of the kitchen and lobby area. This used to be a fabulous pizza place.
Sadly this place has gone down hill. I miss the days when we would walk in and the staff would remember our family and the pizza was delicious. My last three experiences have been bad but I decided last night to give it one more chance. I should have known when me and my two kids walked into the door and the entire place was filled with a burnt pizza smell and fog that we should have went somewhere else. We decided to still order. The place was disgusting. The food prep area was filthy. There were a bunch of missing toppings that were not restocked. We ordered 2 simple pies and one build your own. My daughters crust came out black and i asked for them to remake it. They rolled their eyes and did. Next thing we know there is not one employee on the floor with at least 5 pizzas in the oven. 4 minutes later one employee ran back and took them out. ALL BURNT crusts! I get their short staffed along with every other restaurant during this time. But why would I pay for 3 burnt pizzas that are not even edible? My kids were pretty bummed as they were looking forward to pizza all day from Blaze. The manager was not apologetic and didn't care. Our days of giving this place another chance are over. Save your money and go elsewhere.
It’s my first and last order ! Burned veggie pizza. waste of money
Food is always really good and a great value.I just wish some of the signage was a little clearer for first timers. Whenever I bring someone new, they panic and order one of the menu pizzas on the big sign above. Maybe the staff could ask people if they have visited before?
