I ordered the 16 in on sale for 10.99. Over $20 with delivery and tip. Worst mistake I ever made. I’m thinking they make them all way ahead of time because you get one topping. It was like cardboard, little sauce some cheese and COLD. I’m only 2-3 blocks from the place. Frozen pizzas put them to shame. Digiornos from now on. I only did this tonight because my 2 yr granddaughter was staying and it’s hard to pick up a pizza with a 2 yr old

Not only is this the BEST PIZZA JOINT IN OHIO, they cut their pizza into squares. Something about that is extremely appealing to me. Just delicious.Also, I spilled water all over my pal Mark here the other day and nobody got mad. With the exception of Mark.
Always enjoyed eating here until today. ☹️ We ordered a medium pepperoni and banana peppers pizza and was very disappointed ☹️ the dough was tough, not much in cheese and toppings either. There was several slices that barely had anything on it. We definitely will not be back. ?
I called to place an order for pick-up. I was told ready in 20 minutes. I was placed on hold before i ordered and was hung up on. I called back, placed the order and I waited 25 minutes to get the pizza because I figured they were busy. I get there and my order was never taken. They did nothing to make it right. Disappointing.
Normally Paynes would get a 5 star rating, however yesterday I placed an order. Pizza, salad, breadsticks and a dessert pizza. There was no sauce on the pizza making it dry. The breadsticks were good and the new cheese sauce is very good. The salads were good as well. The dessert pizza on the other hand was terrible! There was very little cherry topping and the crust was inedible. First it wasn't cut, it had very little cherry topping and it was so tough we couldnt chew it. For 8.99 I guess I expected to be able to actually consume it. Very disappointed. Paynes is usually spot on but what a waste of money it was this time around. Used to be best in town.
Food was great as usual. Like the Ham n Cheese subs.Almost canceled my order halfway through because of the young woman who was taking it. She didn't know the menu. When I'd ask her about an item she didn't know the answer or she would just completely ignore what I'd ask about. I was so frustrated to the point of getting angry. Idk what's going on out there but would bet they have lost orders if it was her taking them.
Paynes is a favorite of our family. We go after church some weeks for Lunch and the pizza and Italian sandwich is great!
So good especially the Garlic Cheese Pizza with Parmesan cheese on top 10/10!!! Delicious!!?
Payne's has a solid pizza game. The crust is thin but not very crispy. The salads are large and well made. The prices are right on. It's a great value for a family meal.
