I've been here several times. Somehow they always manage to screw up an online order. They even once ran out of rice. How does a Chinese restaurant run out of rice? I went through the drive through once an hour before closing and was told they were out of Kung Pao chicken. Are you open for business or are you not.?
I stopped through here with my son on the way down to Columbus. We went through the drive through around 1130. There was one car in front of us. When I got to the window I was asked to please hold on a minute....one minute turned to probably 5 minutes of silence at the window with now no vehicles in front of me. I eventually just pulled away and got something else.
This week we were hungry for Chinese food. The closest place was Panda Express. We had coupons so that was a draw. As we drove by the window we mentioned we had a coupon for “buy one get one free”. Apparently the person taking the order did not hear the comment or ignored it. She was rude at the window, charged us for both meals and slammed the window on us. My friend went inside to speak to the manager and got no satisfaction from that. The manager suggested she bring the food back in and the manager would remove a potion of the food to equal the amount of the coupon. That was an unhealthy suggestion to say the least! My advice is avoid Panda Express Marion Ohio at all costs!
Really good food and the employees work hard. Got in to a little scuffle with the lady. I'm not super familiar with ordering there so I read verbatim off the menu. Said pick an entreey and a side. So under entrees I pick orange chicken. Then I look at sides and pick vegetables. She started asking me all these questions about other sides. And I said vegetables? At this point I'm super confused I read directly off the menu and apparently they don't exactly use the menu. But the food I received was very good fresh and healthy.
We stop for lunch now and then so I can grab some walnut shrimp. Quick and easy lunch, typically. The last visit we had to wait about 10 minutes to get fried rice. But we survived the wait and had a decent lunch
3 stars because 1. I love Panda Express BUT our Panda Express sucks on everything to do outside of food. Every time I come through the drive-thru line I’m always rushed. I do not always know what I am craving at the time so it takes me a moment if I want to try something new and it’s like “what’s the third option?” And I’m like “I’m still looking” and the same thing happens if I bring my husband or my daughter. I tell them the menu and they need a moment to decide but we always get rushed at the speaker. Like, today I was ordering drinks and the lady tells me my total and I’m like “I wasn’t even done”… but because of that i was done ordering I guess. I’ve worked in fast food service before so I totally get lowering drive times, but seriously.. I get asked if that’s all after every single thing I order and then if I don’t answer right away the question gets repeated when all I’m doing is deciding. The other complaint I have is that every time I come here.. there is ALWAYS a wait on teriyaki chicken. Literally, always. It’s almost 3pm and google shows it’s not even busy and there’s still no teriyaki chicken. I feel like if a business sells a lot of something they should have more made? I dunno. Regardless, good food—bad service at the one in Marion.
I don’t know what the deal is with Panda Express establishments and their stingy ness on sweet and sour sauce. It’s like 1/2 tsp in the sauce cups. Ridiculous. When we ordered bigger plate and plate size meals.
The place has really gone downhill since it's opened. They got rid of my favorite entree, sweet fire chicken, and that really sucks. I tried Kung Pao chicken as a replacement and it was so salty I couldn't even eat it. Got orange chicken the next time and it was equally as horrible. They've lost me as a customer.
My child loves going here, I think the food is too spicy. I don't usually eat peppers so if you're like me expect to drink more liquids to ward off the heat. Clean, quick service. They mistakenly gave me fried rice when I ordered white rice and when I noticed they provided me the appropriate rice without question a d with an apology. If you care for Asian food I recommend this location.
I normally like panda Express but there was a chunk of plastic cooked into my food. I didn't eat it and don't have time to get something else since I'm on my lunch break. They also got my husband's order wrong.
