First time visiting El Campensino. I am not from the Marion area. Walking into the restaurant I had a warm welcoming environment with friendly service. I was able to be seated in a timely manner with chips and salsa served right away. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable with the menu. My drinks were never empty and my food was served in record time. The food I had ordered was plenty and lasted me for two days. El Campensino, I will 100 percent be back and cannot wait to see what other delicious selections to try.
Service is fantastic! Food prepared quickly and waitressing is great. Chicken taco salad was very soupy and the shell fell apart. Would go back for the service but try something else.
I always get the Al pastor street tacos so when they brought them out today I knew they were wrong. Normally they have diced pork and pineapple. Today it was some sort of shredded meat. I let the server know and she rudely told me those are al pastor. When i told her this is not what I normally get she argued with me. I said it normally has pineapple and there is no pineapple. She asked if I wanted pineapple to which I said yes. She leaves and comes back and tells me they were all out of pineapple and they had to change the pork. It would have been nice to know both of those things when ordering the same thing I always get and what I like about the tacos. If the meat really did change then you should inform the costumer and if you’re out of pineapple one of the best parts of the taco you should inform the costumer when ordering. I attached the pictures. First picture is what I got today second is what I normally get. Clearly not the same.
The food here is great, love this place.
We were there today. Food was great as usual. Jill was our waitress and she did a wonderful job. She has been waitressing over 30 years and knows her stuff. When you get em like her tip em good. She's well worth it.
Our waiter was a top notch profesional, and nice. He went above and beyond. Food was good too! Fajitas Con Queso is my favorite thing on the menu, get it every time.
Love this place best restaurant around. Great food great staff can't ask for a better and decently affordable dinning experience

A great place to eat. I have been going here for a long time and it’s always a good restraunt. The atmosphere was pretty nice and the food was really good, and they rarely mess it up. Bathroom was also clean so that was good. I do recommend coming here.
El Campesino’s is my all time favorite restaurant. The food and service is always excellent. The chips are always fresh and crispy. The salsa is delicious. Everyone is very nice and prompt. Whether our party has been large or small the food is always hot and ready quickly. It is a Marion staple and I always try to eat there whenever I’m in town. The margaritas are also on point.
