This is the worst Bob Evans we’ve ever been to! We took our 4 kids out to celebrate our 2year old’s birthday. The food was overcooked and very small portions for the price. The carrots we ordered for our 2yo were GRAY, she refused to eat them. The server forgot to bring us our bread, that came with our meal. She only came to: take the order, deliver the food, and then the bill. In hindsight, as soon as the food arrived, looking like garbage, we should’ve sent it back, and gone to Perkins.
I am extremely appalled by the customer service that was provided to me and my co workers. We had ordered a pretty large order on 4/16 and had it delivered as it is a Saturday and a holiday weekend, and all staff was needed at our place of work. When our order was delivered, we were missing quite a few items. I personally called in and talked to a woman (did not mention her name) about the missing items. Her response to that was “I did those items, so clearly you need to check again”. I assured her we did not receive any of the items she claims she put in our bag. She then responds with “if you can’t have someone drive not even 5 minutes down the road, then we can happily refund those items off your bill” . I then was in shock that a manager/ associate would even speak to a customer this way. I drove to Bob Evans only to not even be acknowledged by a single employee for about 10 minutes, i then finally am able to speak to a gentleman who was an assistant manager. I let him know about the missing items and the very rude conversation I had with one of his employees. He handles the situation much better, but as the woman I originally talked to was getting my missing items together as she was doing so she is rolling her hers making comments like “ I don’t even care anymore” mumbling stuff under her breath, she is throwing items into my bag, just in general being very very rude. As she finished getting all of our missing items; she shoves the bag towards me, and says “have a great day”. I received no apologies. I will be reaching out to the GM but be advised when ordering carry out or delivery! I * I did speak to the assistant GM, Amanda and she was amazing!! She apologized and made everything right!*
One of the WORST experiences ever. The lady that runs the pick up was EXTREMELY rude. They had forgotten parts of our order where the AGM was amazing she was furious for him correcting our order. The food was cold and over cooked. Like it had been sitting there for a while before sending it out. The TERRIBLE pick up lady was cursing as she was shoving food in the bag and was extremely rude. Do better.
Friday at 515pmBooth/table were dirty. Used butter packet in seat. Table was sticky. I ordered the Honey chicken dinner which I have had a few times before. This time it was over cooked and the breading was gone. Not sure it was even the correct item. We didn't have time to wait for another order since the service was pretty slow.
I stopped in with a Bob Evans gift card, (our miracle ear dr gave us.)..amazing ..so we ordered takeout..got the chicken tender meal...freakin amazing! Got 15 tenders, 2 sides, we chose potatoes with gravy, and green beans. ( i would say both sides were 2 lb containers & cup of gravy. The meal came with biscuits, rolls or banana bread ?..we chose to try banana bread...we got a whole loaf pan ? This meal will feed me and my kiddo for 3 days.
Nice friendly service. Got seated quick. Served food in a reasonably amount of time and it was good!!
My daughter and I arrived on a very slow Wednesday evening. We walked right up to the front but then waited too long to be seated. I think the hostess took an overly long break or otherwise failed to find her fill-in. The server who ended up serving us also seated us. Her name was Sienna (so?) And she was a terrific server: very attentive and sweet. I ordered a rise and shine burger and my daughter ordered the standard chicken strips and loaded fries. She loved her entire meal to the last bite. My burger not so much. It had hash browns on it which were actually cold and the burger itself was overcooked, dry, and a bit tough. The bacon, egg, and cheese on the burger were just fine. I don't think I'll order it again, but any time I can spend with my daughter is good time. The price was adequate for what we got, the service terrific, and the food above average for the most part.
I’d give No Stars if possible, since we received nothing. Not even a glass of water! We arrived and were seated after a very short wait. The host threw menus on the table but never greeted us. My husband and I patiently waited as 4 servers bypassed us to deliver orders to tables all around us. No one ever stopped to take our coffee orders or tell us they’d be with us shortly. After a 20 min wait with no server approaching us, we notice a party who arrived after us already receiving their orders!Enough is enough, so we left and won’t return. Thanks for nothing!
I'd give a no star rating if I could, but it won't let me. My husband and I upgraded our meals to the three course option. He ordered the Chicken and noodles deep dish with soup and I wanted the Slow roasted turkey & dressing with soup. We waited and waited and waited.... And then..... Everything came at the same time! When I commented that our soup and my dinner rolls hadn't been brought earlier (prior to the entree as we've always experienced), she stated this way was how it's done. She didn't know we wanted those before because we hadn't said anything (on the plus side, my husband got rolls which aren't included with the deep dish. However, there was no butter for either of us.) I also remarked that I was given the smaller Dinner Bell portion and not the dinner I had ordered. She stated that when you get the three course, it automatically converts to the Dinner Bell. My husband's portion was the normal size, because, hey, there's no Dinner Bell for that item! I realized after leaving, she also didn't give me any cranberry sauce, but did ask what two sides I wanted. I figured maybe the sauce wasn't included in the smaller meal, but, hey, the picture shows it on the online menu. There also isn't any mention of a second side dish with a Dinner Bell meal. My husband eventually got to ask for butter more than halfway through our meal when she brought our check. After finishing, we waited and waited and waited...... and still no cookie for our third course. My husband decided to ask for it at the register, but our server was at the prep area, so we asked her for them. She stated our order was a choice of soup or a cookie. My husband questioned how it could be a three course meal if that was the case and listed it out for her: soup, dinner, and cookie. She argued there isn't a cookie if we had soup, so he listed it out for her again. This server had to ask her manager if he was correct, then needed to be told where the cookies were, and what to put them in. We didn't even try to discuss my meal with the manager. I did look at the menu before leaving and it says to choose a dinner item (not a Dinner Bell item), a soup or side salad, and a cookie. Needless to say, there was no tip earned for such poor service. After this meal, we would gladly have gone through the staffing issues and possible longer wait if it meant we would have a server with more experience than this one's three weeks.
Never waited on while we sat for 20 min, even though we saw parties who arrived after us being served. So we left and took our 25% tip elsewhere. We won’t be back.
