Food, drinks, and service were great. Small children playing in the items at the bar was off-putting and unsanitary.
Was a nice get away. Very nice establishment very pleasant staff! Food was amazing and the cocktail/wine selections were none other. Will definately be coming back around to 1285.. ?
Great staff, excellent food, from the pizza to the main entrees. Doesn't matter what you order, it will be amazing. Excellent sweet blueberry wine, slightly sweet and then an awesome tart finish, the balance is perfect. I usually drink dark red blends.I would make a reservation when possible, they are always busy.
We absoutly love the food, atmosphere, and the sweet blueberry wine;keeping in mind I drink dark red blends , it's slightly sweet then finishes with a mild tartness, absoutly perfect . We have tried most of the menu, never have we been disappointed. Facebook will give you updated menu options, and seasonal specials, trust me, its worth the trip.
We were driving by and we're looking for a unique spot to stop and relax. We saw the sign for The Blueberry Patch and 1285 Winery and we're intrigued. We were super excited to see it was open until 11pm (Sat night). You cannot see it from the road (unfortunately). It is a very impressive structure on the exterior and the interior is even better! Super clean and dare I say beautiful! Great lighting, use if space and atmosphere. There is ample seating, a store, bar area, two levels (2nd partial) and a patio. We shared a bottle of the dry reisling and some of the delicious cheesecake (blueberry, strawberry). They had live music (one man band). Very relaxing and the highlight of our trip to the area. Our only regret is that we do not live closer!P.S.They do smaller events in the space, which would be perfect for any occasion. The staff was very friendly too!
We used to really enjoy this place and this was our first time back since the new building opened. It was not busy but our service was poor. It felt like we were an inconvenience to our waitress for being customers. We did not ask for anything extra or complain about the infrequent table visits. The pizza was overcooked and the serving sizes of the glasses had been shrunk down to an almost laughable size.
My wife and I came here for the first time this past weekend, since we had a friend from out of town visiting. Overall we were very happy with our first visit. Everything is beautiful and the service was fantastic. The pizza, brie appetizer, and wine were delicious. Our only critique/disappointment was in regards to the cheese/Charcuterie boards. When you go to a winery, I think cheese boards/ charcuterie boards go hand and hand. With that, I think we just expected a higher quality board, especially considering the price. For $26, I think we were expecting more quantity wise and much more quality wise. It would be nice to be able to choose your cheeses/meats as well.We plan on coming back in a few weeks with family and are excited to try some of the other menu items and pizzas.
The new place is so nice! I love their flatbreads and the appetizers are great too. It’s a definite must visit. The blueberry donuts are the best.
We drove from out of town (1.5hrs) to visit the winery based on the menu and options listed on their website. We were quite disappointed to learn that the menu was not accurate. The specific wines and cheeses that we were looking forward to were no longer available. In addition, they no longer offer tastings as listed on their website, so choosing wines AFTER those we were looking forward to were no longer an option was even more challenging. We debated leaving, but I'm glad we kept an open mind and stayed. We were impressed with the couple of wines we tried and the pizza was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. We also appreciated that there was live music but it wasn't overpowering, so we were still able to have conversation at our table. I think it's a great spot that just needs to update their website. For me, it was a 5 star experience outside of the inaccurate information online.
Love stopping by here weekly for supper and a glass of wine or a specialty drink. The gift shop is always a must!
