Entered and waited for several minutes. Finally went to a dirty high top. Wait staff approached with a decidedly unhappy look. I greeted her nicely and we got along great from there. Ordered the mussels and shrimp. If you're a deer looking for a salt lick, this is your dish. The salt was so overpowering it made me nauseous. So...service ok food not.

Okay I'll try to be nice. Why is this restaurant still open? I was last here five years ago and it was the worst dining experience of my life. I will say that back then they had enough respect for their customers that they actually comped part of the meal after we expressed our displeasure with our dining experience. So I went back on Sunday. The main dining room was completely empty save for people drinking at the bar. Ordered fish and chips. 35 minutes later my meal arrived. The chips were inedible, chewy and overcooked, they seemed as though they had been in the deep fryer several times before they were served to me. The fish, while not overcooked, was not crispy enough to pick up and eat by hand as fish and chips are intended to be served or prepared. Absolutely no service from the waitress. And it was so cold in the restaurant that it ruined our dining experience from the start. I will guarantee that I never return. I could have had an awesome steak on the grill for way less than their deep fried swill. Also, I didn't have time to complain because I was late for work. I guess people just go their to drink, not eat.

We ate there on a Thursday afternoon. It has always been one of our favorites and it did not disappoint us on this visit. The food was absolutely fantastic. Our server was incredible. We had the best time. We have had fish and chips in England and this is the closest we have found on this side of the ocean.

The barstaff is very nice and I think this is an okay place for a drink after work. However, the food is not that great. It took us a long time to be seated, despite it being mostly empty. They do have a small amount of outdoor seating, which was nice.

Good food and a good selection of beers. The service was good as well. Nice clean place and friendly help.

The food was absolutely delicious! But Michelle, our waitress was the best part of our experience. She was so friendly and treated us like family. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area!

Went in to the Mansfield location tonight with my family. Waited by the door for about 10 minutes to be seated. Bartender talking to customers at the bar and other staff standing around talking. Never had anyone say we will be right with you or anything! We turned around and walked out! I will never go back! I will definitely put the word out about this restaurant.

My wife and I had a simple dinner order, which included a burger cooked medium and fries well done. What I got was a burnt burger and cold undercooked fries. I'm always very leery of sending food back - especially because the cook got it SO wrong - so by the time our waitress got back to us; I had already eaten what I could eat. Ugh. Not good.

We had a very nice family dinner there. Everyone found something they like on the menu. It was a nice atmosphere where we were able to have great conversations. The food was delishish and nice portions. We have eaten at a few of these Old Bag of Nails. Each one seems to be unique and just as nice.we will probably eat there in the future again.

So good! Everytime ive went the food is wonderful. Wont be disappointed. Everyone is always friendly
