Pretty good cheeseburger and which service. This restaurant no longer offers table service, a casualty if the pandemic. You order and pay for your food at kiosks at the front of the store. When your order is ready, you can pick it up at the counter. The fare is standard burger joint, but well executed. I ordered a steak burger with cheese and a cup of chili. The burger was average size but well presented. The chili was not as meaty as it once was, but still hearty. Overall, a good place for a quick bite while you're on the road.
Some issue with the app not working so I had to go order in person but the staff was friendly (even 15 min to closing), food was prepared as ordered & was very good.The cashier even honored a coupon from my app even though it was not working fully.The pic is of their mascots ? 2 black & white kitties who appear well fed by customers ?
went for dinner tonight. hadn't been here in over 5 years. restaurant was very clean. girl at the counter was very friendly. our food was all hot and fresh and very tasty. we will definitely be back! new owners are doing a wonderful job!
This was my first time inside since covid & the new management. It has changed, you place your order on kiosks & pay there also. Thankfully there was a young man behind the counter who walked us through ordering & paying. He was very pleasant as he addressed all our questions, our food came out quickly & it was very good. But I did notice as we sat eating that others struggled trying to figure out how to place their order & pay so if your not tech savvy be prepared to ask for help ?
Just beyond disappointed in our experience tonight.. Walked into a very dirty restaurant.. tables everywhere had not been cleaned. Noone greeted us what so ever or explained that the food had to be ordered on a touch screen at the counter. Then we go on to wait literally 50 mins for burgers and fries for 3 people. Another family beside us with 4 kids were irate at their hour wait as well. On top of all that the milkshakes brought out to us were literally like water.. the young girl even apologized about them being runny. Just unbelievable! So very disappointed, this place used to have really great service and really good food. Can honestly say unless I hear this place is turned around. We will not be back. Definitely wish I would have took my family down the road to Applebee's instead.
I always go to this Steak "n Shake when visiting Ohio. The kiosk ordering went smoothly. Our shakes were ready almost as soon as we sat down. Our food was ready a few short minutes later. Our food was fresh and hot.
I have gone 3 times since they reopened each at different times of the day and different days just to give them another shot. Disappointed to say each time I waited for at least 20 minutes and this time almost an hour so far. This is terrible service and not worth the quality of the food.
Food was fast and fresh. Very good tasting as well. The prices were reasonable. The changes that the company are good, but can be confusing to people that are new.You no longer wait to be seated. You approach a kiosk and place your order, no more waiting for a waitress to come over. After placing your order you find a seat and listen for your order number to be called.The downside to it was that many of the tables seemed to not have been cleaned off in some time.But overall was a good experience.
Food is the same, but the dining room is open now. I went through the drive through and it was a little long of a wait. The employee at the window, Iva. Was extremely nice, and that is always appreciated!
absolutely ludicrous how long of a wait I've been here almost an hour and there was only 10 vehicles in line!
