This little place is a hidden gem. Such a good and diverse menu for such a country bar and restaurant. The folks were great ~ we were traveling and brought our dog to sit with us on the patio. Everyone was very accommodating. I had the spring fling martini which was wonderful! The special was swordfish bucatini which was out of this world. We started with the appetizer platter of hand breaded mushrooms, pickles, cheese, onion rings, etc - oh so good! We finished off with some authentic Italian lemon cake. Oh yes, and our dog had the burger. He gave it 5 stars as well!1
My wife and I had the mussels appetizer - absolutely excellent! We love mussels and these were as good as we've had; the bacon chips in the sauce is killer! We both had the yellow perch sandwich, ditched the bun and ate the perch straight up. It was really good. Finally, my wife had the sautéed mushroom and I had the mixed veggies and both were really tasty. Great job Oak Park!
My boyfriend is from Mansfield and brought me here, definitely coming back! We had the lobster mac n cheese and yellow perch, both were delicious. Side dishes are on point too! Lots of food. Service was excellent. We'll be back soon.
First time there and we had the calamari and French onion soup with were awesome. The has perch sammich which was great however I had the worst brisket ever. Over cooked was too tough for a steak knife... Wife couldn't even chew it....?
This was our first visit. Food was very good! Nice sized portions. Server was excellent. We'll definitely be back!
Had Oak Parks Prime Rib.. No other way to Explain it but AMAZING! Been Going to Oak Park for years.. Always Excellent Food. Staff is Fun and Friendly. My personal opinion, This place is a Hidden Gem ?!
Filet, baked potato and spinach salad with warm bacon dressing. EXCELLENT Cooked perfect rare.
