I have been to this location Over 300 times since they opened. NEVER have I had one bad meal. Tonight dinner was country fried steak and not only was it burned but all of my sides were stone cold. I sent it back and they nuked my sides and then remade the steak. Well when the manager brought out my remake the steak was even more burned but the sides were hot. On top of all that it was freezing in the building. The manager told me that their thermostat only had a spring summer fall and winter setting which is a line of crap. Not only was I cold but the waiter said he had 4 complaints today and the girl at the cash register said the same. I will not be returning till winter and that is a shame because Cracker Barrel is my favorite restaurant to eat at. This store needs to do better. Turn the AC to a tolerable temp. I am not really even that unhappy my food was bad, it is having to sit in the chilled air waiting on and eating my food. And everyone around me were shivering and noticeably cold as well.
Very good food and service!
Worst experience ever! I did curbside I had to tell them the pop tasted like old tasteless seltzer water. I informed girl about it and I said just refund me on card for drink. She says we can’t refund it. Totally ridiculous so I just left. I get home open up stuff find pot pie smashed they literally just dumped it in to go container. the crust that was in there didn’t even look like it could be a full amount of crust that would cover a pot pie. So basically vegetable soup with a few pieces of crust. Appearently this is what passes for a pot pie here at this Cracker Barrel. I didn’t even eat it I threw it away. I then had to call the Cracker Barrel and wait on phone to talk to manager he did make it right and he said he would refund me in full. But I will never go back and would not recommend anyone going here!
Good food. Good service. Hope to go back .
There are countless restaurants along I-71 between Cleveland and Columbus, most of them serving fast food. That's fine if you're in a hurry, but if you want a nicer or sit-down meal there are fewer alternatives. This restaurant is a good choice if you want something other than fast food. It's your typical Cracker Barrell, so if you've been to another one you have a pretty good idea of what to expect. There is a large menu of home-style food. It tastes good. As has been our experience at other Cracker Barrel's, the service is extremely friendly. The portions were a little large for us, but you know you won't go away hungry.
All Cracker Barrel Restaurants are pretty consistent. We recommend the Chicken Fried Steak and the Grilled Lemon Pepper Rainbow Trout; or breakfast for dinner. The service is friendly, polite and prompt. The restaurant is clean. They have a very cute gift shop and we also bought a cute stuffed doggie.
Great place to eat dine in. Carry out not so much. We had 4 meals. The biscuits and cornbread was like hockey pucks. The potatoes were cold and the gravy was no longer gravy. It was a clump of gel. The meat was good and the Mac n cheese was amazing. The meat was pot roast, chicken tenders, tenders with maple bacon glaze, and steak. It was all pretty good. I guess the sides and bread were the issues. Also we ordered at 12:55 pm and was told it would be 15 minutes til ready. It wasn’t ready til 1:45pm. I will definitely eat there if I’m doing dine in but never ever will I get carry out again.
Good food, good service! Each time I've been there the waitresses were very nice and kept up with many tables. They all do a wonderful job. Love their shop too!
Even though the restaurant was not very busy, we were seated in the middle of the second dining area between two other occupied tables. Sat close enough to the other tables that the server had to have me pass out the meals when they came. The server was pleasant enough I suppose, the food was not. Fried okra was barely warm, slightly chewy and served on top of the mashed potatoes and gravy instead of in its own bowl. Potatoes were slightly warmer. Chicken fried steak was almost hot, but very greasy and flavor was off. Managed to get a refill of water by the time I was finished eating. Servers could be heard having a great time in the kitchen throughout our meal. Manager was not rounding and no one asked how our meal was until checkout. No offer of action. I should have said something more that day and skipped the poor meal, not a mistake I'll make again. Spent 2 days suffering from food poisoning.
Surprised that even though they were not busy, in this Era of covid, that we were seated between 2 other tables in the middle of the room, basically elbow to elbow, when there were 8 other tables that we could have sat at and been better distanced. So close together that the server could not put the plates on the table and we had to pass them to the right people ourselves. Plates were a little hot. Fried okra came piled on top of mashed potatoes and gravy, rubbery and lukewarm. Chicken fried steak was greasy. 1 order of mashed potatoes did not have gravy.. Did not get a refill of water until was finished with my meal. No idea where the manager was, but was not rounding the tables and checking on patrons.
