I’m here to promote our local favorite Chinese food restaurant New Hot Wok. We tried it last spring and have been hooked since. The food is always hot, fresh & delicious, portions easily make 2 meals and the service is amazing. Turns out the owners are my neighbors, and they are good, hard working people. (And no, they did not ask and do not know I’m posting this.) Everything we have tried has been truly delicious. General Tso’s, Beef with Fresh Mushrooms, Orange Chicken, Bourbon Chicken, Egg Foo Young, Crab Rangoons, Chicken Teriyaki, Steamed Dumplings, Kung Pao Chicken and Dragon & Phoenix. Before trying New Hot Wok, everyone stuck to their same order, General Tso’s, never trying anything new. Portions are huge, prices are good, food is always hot & fresh, and the service is always great. This is the only Chinese food we eat anymore. So glad to have tried it and found our new favorite!
BAD IDEA. As you can see from my receipt I ordered, and paid extra for, Sezchuan Chicken Extra Spicy, extra sauce with ONLY extra carrots, onions & celery. I make VERY clear my order every time. This is the 3rd time it has come wrong.It came as you will see in pic with very little carrots, mushrooms (allergy!!) & broccoli. ?????I call & get a man (who was yelling in the kitchen the whole time I wait) who did not take my order but made my order. He proceeds to literally yell at me saying it is MY fault repeatedly & if I want to return it to him tonight he will give me 50% off next time.Are you KIDDING ME???? I worked all day and going out of town early in the morning. He wants me to bring the food back then on FRIDAY to get a replacement at half off....for HIS mistake. NEVER AGAIN

This was my first time here. Do not be put off by the outside of the restaurant or the location; the inside is very clean and well-maintained.I ordered orange chicken with fried rice, an egg roll and a drink which all cost right around $10. I also waited less than 10 minutes for it to be made.The portion was big, even though it was lunch. The food itself tasted great. The egg roll was crispy on the outside. The orange chicken and rice was cooked perfectly with the right amount of sauce.I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants good Asian food in the Mansfield area!
Gotta go back to try again. I wasn't thrilled with the gravy on the egg foo young. Gotta give them another chance.
