Terrible experience for Applebee's. To start off with the hostess didn't know what was going on. She did not communicate to people what she was trying to do. After getting seated the server in my location was slowing getting to the table like 20 minutes. At that time he had three other tables. That were in various stages of serving. Some were eating. Some had placed their orders etc. It took over 30 minutes to get our food, so I assume they were short-handed in the back. But when the food got to us it was cold. You could tell that the restaurant needs a good cleaning. There was a smell of dirty rags. I asked the server for boxes. He brought one box, he did not refill drinks when asked. It was just a very poor experience, especially for an Applebee's. That is not the service that I expect in an Applebee's.They need to do a deep clean of the business. They need to teach their staff to speak clearly to customers, and be polite to customers.
Sunday 3-13-22 , not very busy. Table for 5. Arrived at 4, took 30 mins before we seen a waitress to get drinks. Didn't receive our meals until 1hr20 min mark. after I ate my appetizer, i then realized BBQ sauce all over sides n bottom of plate, none of us orderd BBQ sauce, so that made me want to gag! Asked for a1 sauce n waitress never brought it.. Had to take my whole steak dinner home to reheat. Usually a decent place to go but today was absolutely horrible. Waitress had a million excuses but I'm unsure what what real issue was.
The waitress was always talking to someone while we sat there for a half hour waiting for our orders. When she came out with someone else's appetizer she tried to give it to us. Then waited almost another half hour for our food which she almost gave to someone else. Oh, forgot.... It took about another half hour to bring our drinks, only asked us when we were done with our meals I'd we wanted refills. First time there and I was on a date. Food was really good. Service was poor.
Floors was dirty..service wasn't great. They said the wait was 20 mins...ended up being over an hour. Went to get a drink at the bar...the bartender didn't even acknowledge me. Once sitted took a good 20 mins to get beverages. Appetizers came out with the meal...just grabbed a box to go.
No curbside service the 4 girls having fun looking out window then the man shows up remaking his move on the girls. He eventely sits down with them. Door locked so can't enter but they watch you from the window so never again guess they don't need the business. So take your 30 dollars or more else were. Manager never credited acvount for refund.
Went to Applebee's on Friday February4th. Hostess wasn't at the podium. Waited 10 minutes until she showed up. She was making copies. She started writing on them rather than greeting those who were standing there. Finally, acknowledged us. People in front of us sat at the bar. She told us it would be 30 to 35.min wait. Empty tables everywhere. I understand being short staffed but she could have apologized but didn't. She was rude. She shouldn't be in customer service.
We had our Christmas party there last night and our waitress was great! 20 people spread out due to space but she handled us well.
The server was amazing and friendly. The food was not good. All of us did not feel well after eating.
2hrs waiting for my food and when arrive to my table the stake was raw and i ask well done instead of do another one they just tru that one in the grill back and still not right worse service i ever had
Our server was excellent, efficient. Quick and personable. My two year old was hangry and tired and our food came out fast and she was happy.The only thing that bothered me was the way other customers were treating the employees. They don't deserve to be degraded over lukewarm fries. Be kind ❤
