We had a very nice breakfast before getting back on the road. Very clean and many menu options ti chose from. I had the Belgian waffle with banana and whipped cream. It was loaded with lots of fresh bananas. Other family members had the French toast and breakfast skillet and enjoyed it as well.
Best place in Lima or surrounding area for breakfast hands down. The service is great, we always get seated quickly no matter how busy it is. And the food is incredibly good. Pretty much homeade. Big portions and most meals are $10 or under. The bacon is very good, and most places I don't like their bacon because they are always cooking it till it's hard and brittle. Not this place. The bacon strips were big and juicy..!
Stopped for lunch about 1 on the 28th. I had a bowl of the bean & ham soup and my wife had the Monte Cristo sandwich with American fries.I found one or two beans in the whole bowl of soup, but lots of the tiny ham cubes you might find at a salad bar... odd, just odd. Sandwich had fair amount of shaved ham and was pretty good. The American fries were greasy and limp. Service was good.

Lulu's is my favorite place to eat. We have gone there since they first opened. There hasn't been anything there that I have eaten and didn't like. Not only is the food great, but the customer service is equally as great. The servers are very friendly and personable. It was ok.It was very busy when I went in, so I had high hopes. There were only two waitresses who were running off their feet, so that impacted service. I don't blame to girls, but management could stand to have someone else on the floor.I ordered steak and scrambled eggs. The eggs were quite dry, and the steak I ordered Rare was Well done to medium well. I didn't raise a fuss because the staff was so busy that frankly I didn't have the opportunity to. Everything else on the plate was tasty and the coffee was hot. So, it was ok. Not bad, but....ehhhh. I wouldn't say don't go there, and I might go back to see what it's like when it's less busy.It was ok.
