Cute stop and a great photo opp with the Kewpee doll on top of the building and inside too. Food was simple but tasty, staff was friendly. We did notice that there is only a ladies bathroom. Couldn't find one for the gents anywhere.
Never go to the downtown kewpeeIt is the only awful one most likely because of the staff being rude & downright disrespectful.If you really want to enjoy kewpee then i suggestEast or west but not downtown.
They make a good burger!!! A must try & be sure to get all the toppings & even if they charge extra for the toppings I'm telling you it's way cheaper then eating anywhere in Philly!! 3 double cheese burgers and 2 regular cheese burger . The 2 doubles had everything except bacon.1 double was a plain with just cheese. My 2 regular burgers had every topping and bacon.Yes on my 2 burgers had every topping they have & all that was under $25.00 that price would only get you one & a half cheese steak in Philly with no extras just saying kewpee is CHEAP with a great burger.
12/5/21...Had lunch here with the family before heading to the Christmas Tree Festival. This was my first time here in over 15 yrs & my fiance, son & daughter's first time eating inside. It was very hectic & busy inside & outside but the staff were doing their best. My lunch (hamburger w/ketchup, pickle & mustard) w/a side of fries brought back childhood memories. The food was delish & staff was customer friendly. Especially the woman that got our drinks.
Great food. The prices are great too. They are recession proof and will be around forever.
Found this building oddly enough through studying old architecture! My visit was amazing, complete with a perfect burger and the best fast food fries I've ever had.Expect to wait a bit. Everyone is short-staffed right now, and historic diners is no different. An eight minute wait seemed very fair for the end result with such delicious food.Topped off my visit with a $5 coffee mug to take home.

Great food. Clean restaurant. The service is always a bit slower at this location but nothing horrible. I take the kids for the nostalgia not the speed!
Cheeseburgers were great and love their French fries! Thick and crisp on the outside. Sugar cream pie is a favorite. Classic American food done right. Only downside is there is always a good sized line but it moved quickly.
Wow! What amazing burger place at an amazing price! Everything was top quality food and the Pies… uh-mazing. Did I mention the frozen yogurt and the cool staff! Nothing like this I have seen in all my travels around the USA!
