Have not been to Golden Corral in 3 years. Went back to Lima and ate. Steak was cold, full of gristle, and fatty. Mushrooms were cold and tasted like water. $29.00 for 2 senior buffets is alot when the food sucks
1st time at the Lima Golden Corral. Much better than food alley in Dayton. Food seemed fresher, steam tables cleaner, server more attentive to needs and removal of used plates, drinks, etc. Restocking of steam table / selective food accomplished in reasonable time and efficiency. The general staff seemed to enjoy their jobs, and not mope around waiting for shift end. Makes a difference. I'll go back
We went on Sunday 5-15-22 the cashier lady Courtney was extremely rude and we had a sign up offer get 5 off of 25 she took my husband's phone hit rewards and told us he didn't have enough points to redeem it or they didn't have a scanner. I told her that he didn't need rewards he is a new member she started yelling at me she didn't care she wasn't using the code they had no scanner. My husband said I'll talk to a manager and get it and she got rude I told her give my card back I wasn't eating there! She started mouthing off we was walking away she was yelling saying I was wrong and waving bye get it out! Nobody was yelling at her I tried calmly explain what the code was! My husband decided he wanted to talk to a manager so he went back in and asked her to get her manager she completely ignored him so he stopped someone on the floor they got one. She started yelling at my husband you don't tell me what to do and continued to yell at the manager and that person got another manager who told her to shut up! They were sorry she give us money off to eat our meal and he said no it wouldn't work between her and his wife! They gave 5 dollars for our coupon getting expired. I will never go here again I hope this rude lady gets fired for her outburst!

Had been before covid started since I was able to eat inside but it didn't disappoint me. I would have put a 5 star if not for our cashier. Waitress and good food made the wait worthwhile. I love this place and the variety is amazing. Definitely recommend this place. Prices for 2 is around forty dollars for 2 buffets but being able to have the variety and all you can eat is worth it.
Only good thing this time was the waiter he was awesome, food was so slow to get on line you had to wait for something good. Manager should be fired at this store basically yelling about writing up servers when there was no food on the line. Should have a better manager that will jump in and help. Will was the waiter need more like him but I see why employees leave, when you don't have good management
excellent food and very respectful waitresses. I'd definitely go back again.
The food and service was good. The only problem was the ladies room. Only one stall was clean and able to be used and it was the handicap stall. That meant that while my granddaughter was in there, a lady that needed it couldn't use it. When brought to someone's attention, nothing was done about it.
The bacon was as hard as wooden planks. I can't really say anything good about a single thing I ate there. The only thing good I can say was the greeter and the waitress was nice
I live close @ This Restaurant Lima Golden Corral ! Like 3 minutes! I love steak ? but! The steak is not safe to eat because they don’t know how to cook it! When you grill the steak it’s supposed to be the grill fire ? is on medium high to rich the right temperature 144 degrees to kill the bacteria then live it on for at least 7 to 8 minutes each side! But nope they just like cooking very low heat! That’s why it’s so tough too! But in Forth wane Golden Corral that’s how they cook it that’s why it’s Good! My question is why they don’t do it in Lima? So I don’t have to drive close one hour!
