we had the Fresh Berry Farmers Choice breakfast not realizing there would be so much food. the food was very good. our waitess was great! very friendly. came to the table several times to check on us. cashier that checked us out also friendly and smiling.
We had a pick up order this morning and the young man working the register was a ray of sunshine. Thank you for being so friendly…and helpful to the older gentleman trying to use the credit card machine. Kindness doesn’t go unnoticed!! The food was great, as usual!!
Growing up, Bob Evans was a big deal to go to for lunch or dinner because it was as close to my mother's cooking as you could get. For decades after that, it would be my go to place for yummy comfort food. But even before the pandemic I started noticing a shift; food wasn't coming out as great as it used too be-def a more processed feel to it. The servers don't seem to want to be there (and I get it but at least fake it just a bit so I don't feel like I'm putting you out) and there was a big hangup on the biscuits to the point we had to take the sausage gravy and biscuits home with us once the biscuits came out of the oven. While our server was waiting on biscuits, the rest of our food sat there getting cold so maybe use a QC person to make sure the meals come out like they're supposed to. On top of that, sitting in booths that I've probably sat in 20-40 years ago wasn't very inviting either. In sum, it wasn't a very good experience and I'm not expecting to go back anytime soon.
Horrible experience, Hard biscuits with my sausage gravy. Called store and they did NOT refund or give me a coupon. Total waste of money. Will not return!
The food is always good the server was absolutely amazing but it took forever to get our food and knowing there might have been only 3 other customers in the building that surprised me
Ordered my meals on line for pick up since I was staying at the motel 6 next door, waiting for vehicle repairs to be completed, everything was fast and great EXCEPT the wait at the counter when I first walked in employee was at the counter and she saw me, but did not acknowledge my presence, did not say anything. She didn't even do sign language...nothing for about 7 minutes. Not good customer service. Eventually she told someone after she asked was I there for a pick up.
I felt the portions were rather small, but the taste & quality of the food was excellent. Service was great. Prices are good. I would definitely recommend this place as a fine eating establishment.
Turkey dinner was awful. Rubbery under cooked Turkey, dressing was not the same and tasted bad. Included vegetable soup that went right in trash it was so bad. They won’t be in business long if they serve food like this. Take out 2/24/22
Service was good. Food was good. But it is just Bob Evans. You know what you are going to get with this pick. Not exciting, just substantial.
Bob Evans has been around for a long time and the food is always good. I have to stop at Bob's in Lima every time I pass though. They seem to never disappoint me and the staff is always friendly and attentive.
