I don't know what happened. Sure it can be short staffed sometimes, but service was always excellent. Not an issue for me.I've been here three times before and the food was A+.Though my wife and I came back for the first time in almost 8 months and the food was way off.The burger and onion rings was a favorite of mine, but the supplier must have changed. All of it is smaller, looks different, and doesn't taste very good + a 4oz burger. I think the menu advertised 7oz maybe? Shredded iceberg (instead of romaine) on the burger and onion rings were way off too. It all just had much less quality to it.I promised myself I'd come back again and try something else, but something not so good happened to the burger/onion ring lineup.
Went here for dinner with my husband tonight. First time actually eating a meal here. Very nice atmosphere and waitresses. The food took a little bit to come out, only down side.. but it’s a Friday night what do you expect when going out? Lol! But the food was AMAZING!! We had calamari for apps and then I had fish and chips and subbed my fries for the scallop potatoes. Delicious! Probably the best COD I’ve had in awhile. My husband got the chicken Alfredo and it had broccoli with it and he said the broccoli reminded him of his grandmas soup !!Who is no longer with us. Cooked perfectly! 5/5 would recommend and can’t wait to go back!!!
Food was not good, and the service wasn’t either. Took a long time to be acknowledged to even get a table. (And this was in an unbusy Friday night)Finally ordered, brought appetizer with no silverware. Husbands order was wrong. Food was not good. Brought it back and said they were going to correct it on the bill and they didn’t. Service was sparse. This was our 2nd time here. We thought it was ok the 1st time and wanted to give it another try. We don’t be going back.
First of all the sausage patties were disgusting, they we’re actually hamburger patties (sliders). Last I checked sausage comes from a pig. Bacon was super greasy & my orange juice tasted like it had been left out for a few days & had gone sour. Definitely not worth $20 a person. Will definitely not return. I politely complained to the manager & was VERY rude with her comments. Definitely should work on her people skills. Parking was awful!! I own a big vehicle and could barely make thru to the other side to park. Very small parking spots also.
We were there for a small wedding. The manager saw that we were seated in a booth(11 of us). She put us in a private roomThe food & service was outstanding.
Chris was one of the best waiters that I have ever encountered in my many years of dining experience. If I could leave a tip for him in my will, I would. Ask for Chris if you stop by.
I miss the coffee shop, Shaw's but the bistro is a great place to stop off for a bite to eat whenever in Lancaster Ohio.
my server was outstanding. that being said.... my food was awful. 25 dollars for over cooked "tenderloin medallions" that anyone can tell that they are not made to order. My potatoes had no seasoning and the drinks were watered down. my wife ordered the walleye and it was so heavily salty that it was not edible. her potatoes were as if they were baked and nothing else was done to them. I had such high hopes but they were quickly crushed. don't anticipate that I will ever go back.
We wanted to stop in Lancaster on the way home from Hocking Hills and found this little gem! Great lunch and attentive service! The Buffalo Chicken sandwich was delicious. We ordered mushroom soup as an appetizer and wewere not disappointed! Shout out to Chris for the great service!
I called to see if they had outdoor dining, I was told they were short staffed and could not open the patio. The next day I called again to see if they were offering outdoor dining. I was told yes, weather permitting. As it was a beautiful evening in the 70’s we arrived, asked for outdoor dining and was told it was too hard on the wait staff to have customers in & out so outdoor was not available. We left and went to Ale House. We had a lovely dinner at their outdoor patio.
