What a pleasant first encounter. Best Mexican food in area. Well made and presented well. The inside ordering is walk up, with table service from there. They had loads of takeout while I was there and good numbers at tables. The place is spotless. The young lady taking orders has the personality to make guests know they are appreciated. I lingered having a second beer. Watching a well run business is a joy. The food, chips and salsa were perfect. Family affordable.
At first I was a little skeptical when we walked in. But the woman behind the counter explained the dine in process and she did serve us chips and salsa multiple times. The food was delicious and the serving were big. I ordered a quesadilla and two tacos assuming the quesadilla wouldn't be that big, but it was very satisfying. The fish tacos were great and I was overall very glad we decided to stop here. Would definitely eat here again.

This was the vegetarian fajita. I had only taken a couple bites. There was 2 stalks of broccoli and the rest was all carrots with onions and some green peppers. The sauce was horrible and the quantity was very minimal. We asked for cheese queso and was brought shredded cheese. I’ll stick to Maria’s!
I went to Taqueria El Tapatio, Monday the 28th. of March between 6-7 pm i was so excited i had heard nothing but good about this establishment boy was i fooled,right from the moment we went into the resturant is was all bad from the service to the food,worst food i had ever eaten.mexican food is my favorite food but after going to your place id rather eat seafood and i hate seafood,i hope they close you down..aweful..im glad we have actual good mexican food in town because what you call food i wouldnt feed to my dog..i gave you 1 star because i had to in order to post this..you actually deserve negative stars in my book..good thing we arent forced to eat your food id starve to death..i mean i only had nachos and they even messed that up,the meat was burnt and the chips tasted like cardboard

Authentic Mexican food, clean environment and super friendly staff! We loved our first visit and will definitely be returning soon. The food was delicious and great portions for the price!

These tacos are the real deal!!! Having lived in Mexico most places in the USA are American versions of Mexican food. But this place is authentic and so good. We got the chicken, al pastor and carnitas tacos. Amazing!!!!
My new favorite place in Lancaster for Mexican food. Super authentic food and kind staff who are happy to answer questions. Its more laid back than a traditional sit down restaurant which I enjoyed, and its quick service so I come here on my lunches often.
