Italian Pizza Salad

Have to be honest Didn't remember this little restaurant existed until the post on Facebook about the parking. Absolutely love Italian food so I thought I would check it out. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of the price and it's cash only. I got a salad and an entre and it was over $40. There is a picture of a menu online but I believe it's outdated. The 2 things I ordered were not on the menu but there are several pictures online of different food people have gotten. The food is FANTASTIC and the owner is very friendly. I plan on going back. Next time with my husband so he can pay ?

Edited, as I apparently didn't explain clearly the first time. The food was fine, and pizza great as well. However, it was a bit pricey when we visited awhile back, perhaps this has changed. Was hoping they had a traditional pasta aglio e olio or a carbonara with guanciale. Which is hard to find around these parts.

One of the best, unique small business restaurants that I've ever had the pleasure of eating at.The Ravioli is a must try for 1st timers!Apologies for no photos, it was gone before I even thought to take any! Will do the next time in!

Are here for the first time tonight. We will definitely be back for more!!!! It is a little pricier than I expected, but man is it well worth every penny!!! The ravioli special was amazing and the sauce was to die for! Best Italian I have ever had! The owner/chef, Chris, greeted us when we walked in and was incredibly hospitable. Enjoyed talking with him. But the food is just amazing! I highly suggest trying this place out. I think we found our new favorite restaurant in Lancaster.

We made reservations for dinner on 2/14/22. There were two other couples in the restaurant. We were greeted by the only waitress and promptly seated. We chose not to have the Valentine’s Meal, which was soup/salad, pasta, filet with green beans, dessert and coffee for $90.00 each. We just ordered from the menu, I had beef, cheese, mushroom and lobster ravioli with red/cheese sauce. My wife had a filet with pasta that had peppers/onions. We were also served warm toasted bread. The food was outstanding. We were shocked that we had never heard of this restaurant before. For the food I just described, our bill was $72.00. They only accept a cash payment. But as a convenience they have a ATM in the hall. We will definitely eat here again.

The best Italian food in Central Ohio and it's hidden! Cash only! Please don't expect cheap Olive Garden prices here but it's so worth it.

One of the best local restaurants we've ever had dinner at. You can tell the owner puts everything he has into making it an authentic and enjoyable experience. The food is undeniably made from scratch and the initial "sticker shock" of the menu prices melted away quickly, with every bite proving it's value. This isn't Olive Garden and it isn't supposed to be. It isn't polished and pre-prepped but it's still a better way in my opinion to enjoy truly Italian food. We had the ravioli combo special and lasagna. Both were excellent. Now I'd never give a higher mark to anyone's lasagna than my wife's but this one had a great taste all it's own. The different flavors of Ravioli were phenomenal in their dominance as I tried each one. Some of the info listed here, including the menu prices and options are outdated. The owner admitted that he doesn't have much social media skills and doesn't focus on it, but instead prides himself on the food. He did ask that we share our experience because he greatly enjoys his customer base expanding due to word of mouth. It's still cash only, plan for about $40-50 per person. I believe this to be the highest side but if you prepare for that cost then you can head out and enjoy anything on the menu you may want. For reference our bill was about $60 for 2 of us. Be a bit careful about putting the address into an app for directions, Waze had it listed about another half mile up the street than what it actually is. Apologies for no pictures attached, we were already halfway done before I even considered it ?

So good, we had to go back 3 days later because I couldn’t stop thinking how good the food was. My husband and I were out of town and we just happened to find this place by telling Siri how hungry we were. This was the closest restaurant to where we were at the time. We had zero expectations. When we pulled in the parking lot, we almost missed the restaurant. It doesn’t look like much on the outside. We went in and found a cute little cozy atmosphere. We were immediately greeted with, “WELCOME! Make yourself at home”! The owner seems to also be the cook, the server, the dishwasher… I don’t know if this is always the case, but the two nights we went it was. He’s incredibly friendly and tries his best to make you happy and comfortable. Pros: The cheese ravioli is DIVINE. AUTHENTIC Italian food! The owner is so welcoming. Seat yourself. He sells his homemade sauces. Bring your own wine. Great cheesecake. Complimentary toasted sourdough bread for all. Bathroom inside. ATM inside. Cons: Doesn’t look too inviting from the outside. Both nights we were there it was pretty cold inside. This is not a place you go if you’re in a hurry. Cash only. Prices are a little high for what you would expect by the environment, but once you taste the food- you understand why. Semi-small portions. This is an amazing small business that I will continue to support, even though I live an hour away. I’m amazed by this place and how incredibly authentic the food is!

I visited Osteria Alla Romana yesterday for the first time and I'm not quite sure why it took me so long to visit. While this is a small restaurant, it feels big with the atmosphere and the owner ensuring you enjoy your time there. The owner knocks the ball out of the park with his ability to take your order, cook it and serve you, as well as checking in on you to see if you needed anything. The lobster ravioli was suggested to me and I am so glad it was! When I placed my order I was asked if I liked any spiciness (I really can't handle it) but I decided to say I would like just a little bit of spice. When I say I was shocked, I mean I was SHOCKED when the food came out. I was served a dish of a decent number of ravioli covered in an amazing sauce. I was also served three slices of bread to pair along with the pasta. When I took a bite of the ravioli, I felt like I was immediately transported out of Lancaster and felt like I was in Italy. The taste was sooo rich and flavorful. The spice that I said I could take was just the right amount. The ravioli tasted so great. I would definitely order it again, but I look forward to trying something else soon.
