Cute place!!! Great for a date night. We were not a fan of the Agave drink….(we order the Paloma).As for the food….the Distillery Burger (pictured below), was simply AMAZING. Mouth-watering good! I will be back for this burger LOL. The salad was good but go for the burger!!!
My wife and I had a great time at the cocktail class and we really enjoyed our food but the service really took away from the experience. After how much it costs for the cocktail class and after purchasing the ingredients, you really shouldn't have to go to the bar to ask for more water and to ask for your bill. I really wanted to try a flight of bourbon as well but I never even had the opportunity to order it. And this was during a very slow time of day. I really hope this was just a fluke experience because we liked the drinks and food.
We had 6pm reservations for four. At about 1pm, I received a phone call from the hostess asking if the four of us would consider sitting at the bar. I said it was not ideal for a party of four and she said no worries they will take care of it. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation time, and there were several other parties present who also received the same phone call and declined the bar seating as well. We waited until 6:25 p.m. and we were still not seated with no ETA on when we would have a table. The person who appeared to be the manager (male with glasses and a beard) was rude and unsympathetic to the situation. He was standoffish and didn't even offer an apology for their screw up! Clearly, they overbooked the 6:00 p.m. time slot. I would have rather been offered an earlier or later reservation time when I received the phone call earlier in the day instead of standing around and waiting for nearly 30 minutes past our reservation time. We went somewhere else and had a great experience. Needless to say, we will not be back, even though we were all looking forward to trying this place. It's not even because of the botched reservation situation, it's more due to the rudeness of the manager and the hostess staff!
One of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in the Cleveland area. Great, extensive cocktail menu with something for anyone. The food was all terrific and tasted like someone had put significant effort into creating a memorable product. Well crafted menu with a variety of options. The staff and ambience elevated the experience even more. This is the type of restaurant that you are already planning your next visit before you walk out the door.
Loved the atmosphere and service was great. Food and drinks are top notch!
Fourth time having dinner at the Western Reserve Distillers. As always the food was delicious and the cocktails were spot on! The staff is informative, attentive and friendly!Bought a bottle of their Silver Rum and their 4 year year Bourbon. Both are of the highest quality!Love this place!
My wife got us tickets to the couples and bourbon event. While getting chocolates and 5 different bourbons was nice. Our server was also very nice and attentive. I think he felt bad for us since we weren’t really apart of the event. We got sat closer to the middle of the dining room and only heard maybe 1/4 of the presentation at best. This was pretty disappointing to me since I am quite into bourbon. After the event was done everyone but my wife and I got invited to go into what looked like the distillery portion of the business(not sure why). This was our first time being there and I have don’t have any desire to go back.
We enjoyed wonderful cocktails with great service before taking a tour of the distillery. The tour was led by the owner who was extremely interesting. The spirits are awesome, highly recommend the whole experience!
Fantastic bourbon and rye (our favorites are 4yr rye and 15 year bourbon). Ricardo made an amazing pizza and banana flambé, and was such a nice guy. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable about whiskey. Will definitely visit again the next time we are in town.
Went here on a Friday night around 9:30pm. It was pretty slow and they were only serving they’re Late Night Menu. The chicken sandwich was AMAZING along with the hush puppies. Fries were pretty average. Service was excellent. Only thing about this place I don't like is that it is VERY small.
