The chicken Romano entrée was burned on the bottom and the pasta was a congealed overcooked mess. The deluxe pizza was burned on the bottom and overcooked. We were told it would take 30 minutes for this order which ended up taking an hour. The dining room was empty and five people sitting at the bar drinking.

Peppers, prior to selling, had the most amazing Italian food. After? Not so much. Close, if not same, sized servings. New owners changes recipes and the taste shows.

I have never left a review, but my experience with Pepper’s tonight deserves praise! Today was my birthday, and I wasn’t having the greatest day. I called in my order right when the kitchen was closing, but the woman taking my order let me put it in last minute! When I arrived, she told me happy birthday, and when I got home, there was an extra container in my bag with chocolate cake inside and “happy birthday” written on it. I fully appreciated the kindness shown and her going to extra mile! Also need to mention, the food was great. My first time having their chicken parmesan, and I was not disappointed!

Service could have been better but food didn’t disappoint

A first timer at Pepper’s! The food and service was excellent. Great wine list as well.

Great Food, great service!!

Pepper's wasn't busy, early on this Friday at 5PM. We came in masks, but NO ONE, no servers, donned masks, we were surprised. We still are in a pandemic. We hadn't been to Pepper's since the place was expanded and refurbished, and apparently had ownership change. The menu was a little different, and it sure sounded great. We were seated right away so we beat the weekend crowd. Soon, our server, Katarina (a lovely, inquisitive young new server) stopped by with water for our thirst - and asked us if we wanted other drinks. She was very personable and listened carefully to our requests. The drinks came in a timely manner, and then we ordered an appetizer and food. We leisurely enjoyed the calamari, but wait, then came the delicious bread, the salad and then immediately, the dinner! The table was full and we were nowhere ready to enjoy it all. Katarina was perfect and explained that it was all ready before we were. I notice that the kitchen is small so where was the foot to go but on our small table. While we enjoyed our meals of tasty chicken piccata and penne with pomodoro and mushrooms, but felt too rushed to enjoy a relaxing meal and were overwhelmed. We did order the lemon dessert, but to go, to give it a try. BTW, it was quite expensive, they need to revisit pricing

It's either here or Angelo's. There is no in between. The food is amazing. Great wine. Plenty of places to sit. The service was incredible and I always get my money's worth here. Highly recommended.

Came here for the first time tonight and was pretty underwhelmed considering how good everyone has said this place is. My boyfriend’s chicken parm was pretty good, but my fettuccini Alfredo was thick and clumpy. The salads were good, but they were pretty small and the fried mozzarella was basically just a thick chunk of cheese with a thin layer of breading over it on a stick. We will be back, but this trip was just a tad disappointing.

Not the Pepper’s I recall from years past. The food was awful and the service was equally as bad- not because we had to wait but because the entire staff seemed clueless, like they were all plucked off the street 5 minutes before being told to try their hand at serving. The pasta was swimming in sauce and may as well have been soup. The Calamari was very obviously frozen and then reheated in a deep fryer. If you’re looking for authentic Italian don’t waste your time.
