Just so happened to be in the mood for a grilled cheese when we were in Cleveland. How convenient, we could try where Melt started! And it was perfect. Nice bread (not sweet!), they didn't mind how many cheeses i put on my sandwich ?, and good fries! Service was quite slow, but gotta give everyone grace for that these days. The store is also just cool to look around at all the pictures.

The Good. The service the food. The Bad. The service.Monthly promo is a free Dogfish pint glass with a Dogfish pint. I confirmed first they had some left and ordered. As I was leaving I asked for the pint glass and was told he had to go get one in the basement. 5 mins later he’s talking to another fella at end of bar and then he hands me another brewery glass with logo well worn. I left it behind. Not great experience.

We went to melt because it was recommended by a local. It reminded me of a restaurant in Pittsburgh called Primanti brothers. It was nice that we ate inside the restaurant. the decor was that there were garage doors that were open so that there was Cross breeze as while you were eating dinner. Our waitress was extremely friendly and excellent. The food was pretty good, big portions, and their mac & cheese is spicy as is their coleslaw. Seems like they use red pepper flakes in a lot of things. So if you like that, that’s great. If it’s something that you can’t take as far as spice goes then you might want to avoid parts of the menu.

Food was very bland and overall not very appetizing. Service was average. The slaw I had was very chunky, seemed to be missing some ingredients, looked and tasted like chunky cabbage with rings of raw onion and malt vinegar mixed in. I asked for a banana and the served me a hard green banana for a baby. Overall my experience was not great and maybe need to try them another time.

AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME!!! We drove close to an hour to eat here and it was completely worth it. They have a ginormous menu, but it is their grilled cheese sandwiches which are the stars. The issue, there are really too many to choose from. From seasonal favorites (their thanksgiving sandwich is a thanksgiving dinner on a sandwich) to their everyday offerings, we LOVE Melt. Easily one of our all-time favorite restaurants. My personal fave? The Parmagedden. Check it out!

My husband and I were here on 4/9/22 in the evening. There was a wait to get seated but we were lucky enough to get the last 2 seats at the bar. The male bartender busted his butt the entire time we were there. The restaurant was slammed yet he was able to single handedly keep our drinks full and pump out drinks for the customers seated at the tables. He was even able to work in a little conversation while we were sitting there... very pleasant. The food was delicious as always. Yes, there was a bit of a wait for the food but that is to be expected when the establishment is slammed on a Saturday evening. We will be back.

always fun, lakewood is the best location

In “today’s events” they were short staffed yet this service was outstanding as well as the food!!! Extremely friendly staff and all working very hard to keep the customers happy! Drove 90min for this lunch and will absolutely be back!!! Thanks so much team!!

Everything was excellent... especially the tomato soup and the chicken fingers. Love how they include gluten free and vegan foods. This place has something for everyone. Everyone was super nice too! Highly recommend!

Always fantastic food and amazing service! Everyone is so kind every time we go. 10/10 and a huge recommendation to get the Mighty Mac with Kettle Chips and the homemade french onion dip.It is all that I crave now!
