I am a frequent customer at Humble Wine Bard in Lakewood, Ohio. The last time I went the service was great, however, there was a mistake that happened when I paid the bill. I was splitting the check between two friends (so splitting it 3 ways). I put my credit card in so the waitress could split the bill, but I told her I wanted to pay for the bill in cash. I gave the waitress the cash for the bill and tip. The next day I looked at my bank account and I was charged for the bill! That means I double paid and gave the waitress a $70.00 tip. I called and spoke to Sara, the manager. She was short with me on the phone and said she would have to look at the cameras to ensure I actually paid cash. I said that was fine and described the waitress to her, and I asked is she could ask her staff who got a $70.00 tip. She asked me to email her and then hung up without saying "thanks I will look into it" or "sorry for the inconvenience". I emailed her that night and still haven't heard back from her 2 days later.Again, I frequent Humble, but after being double charged and it has yet to be resolved, I doubt I will return.
Great vibe for get together with friends or a date night, there was about a 20 minute wait for a table when we went on a Friday night at 6:30. Our waitress recommended a wine and it was spot on, so good. We also ordered the brie with figs, sausage pizza and pepadew pizza. Everything came put quickly and tasted amazing. Will definitely be going back.
This place is so delicious! The patio is super nice in the summer to enjoy your wine. The pizzas are amazing here. I was sad to see the Quattro Fromagio and Lardo which where two of my favorites are gone but the Fig and Prosciutto is a great new favorite! Came here with the lady last Wednesday and had a great experience! Now I ain’t no city boy, I like my meals simple and down to earth, but boy was I surprised! We had a salad, some great wine, and this phenomenal cheese that blew my mind, I think it was Swiss cheese. Now I’m more of reprosado man myself, but my lady was so proud of me for for having a glass of wine that night, and a salad to boot! (It ain’t often my meals is so green). Normally I hate salad but this one was so good, I even paid my compliments to the chef, feller who I hear goes by the name of Thomas. I hope to meet you again young salad wizard! Here’s how good I felt when I got home, I will definitely be returning to Humble Wine Bar!
I came here for the first time when I was moving my daughter in to the neighborhood, they have an excellent happy hour and the pizza is amazing. My favorite pizza is the spinach and Brie. The staff is just as excellent as the pizza. The hostess Andi and Haleigh are so patient even when they're busy. Definitely come check it out!

Great seasonal cocktails, Katie was great and took care of our 6 top flawlessly. Food is solid. Always a great time.
