Dewey's is one of our favorite restaurants, as we both attended universities in Cincinnati - the home of Dewey's. Their selection of pizzas and salads is outstanding, the restaurant is always clean and welcoming. The chef is not afraid to experiment with pizzas and salads. I am not sure what happened on Thursday (May 19th). I ordered Blueberry Almond salad (seasonal item), and the greens were wilted and rotten. It never happened before. Please inform your chef that you got a bad batch of greens.
The pizza for the price has been a 3 out of 5 the few times I've visited. But, everyone there is so pleasant and the service is top-notch so I keep coming back.Food: 3/5Atmosphere: 4/5Service: 5/5
Top 5 pizzas in Cleveland.. this coming from someone that grew up in NYC.. Cleveland people like Cleveland pizza, which closely resembles Dominos but with provolone cheese (Cleveland why provolone on pizza?! someone please fill me in)Dewey's is a true NY style, delicious stuff and very underrated.. awesome selection of unique toppings and specialty pies
We ordered 2 Edgar Allen Poe, and 1 Hawaiian. I was very disappointed in the Hawaiian pizza, I guess i expected it to be similar to Antonio's, not near as good (see pic of Antonio's). The service was good, good server attitude. There food is expensive. Noisy atmosphere.
We love Deweys the pizzas are amazing and the little ones stand by the window to watch them toss the dough and the kids at the widow have flour thrown at them making them laugh, it's a great time for everyone.

So my best friend has loved this place for years, and has always wanted me to go. I finally made my way up to the area to see her and we went to Dewey's and man...it was actually really good. So many unique pizza styles.We got 2 17' pizzas, I picked a whole Don Corleone which is pepperoni and salami(I think?) and it was actually incredible. She chose to get a half and half, one half Porky Fig (has a fig sauce and is a little sweet) and half the seasonal one which had peppers and hot honey on it. I tried both of hers too, the porky fig wasn't something I would order but it also wasn't bad. I'm just not a huge fan of sweet on pizza. But the pepper one I wasn't a fan of because I don't like banana peppers. She loved all three of them, and her palate is way better than mine. I guess the littlest gripe I had was that they didn't give straws for our drinks, but I didn't ask either so that is probably on me. It's also a little on the expensive side, but honestly, you pay for the quality of the pizza. Simple as that.

Dewey's Pizza is superb!! It never disappoints...the restaurant is always clean and the staff works hard to keep it that way.
