This place is the best bakery in Ohio hands down, delicious pastries, great coffee and drinks. I love the staff here, they keep their composure really well especially considering how often they receive flak from elderly people and Karens and there are usually a lot of clumsy toddlers that dump milk on the floor. They are the nicest staff. I love you. Please return my calls.
The best bakery I have been to in Cleveland! I have tried many of Blackbird’s baked goods and have never been disappointed. Raspberry Jammer is my favorite, but their seasonal scones are also top tier!
Been here a hundred times. Love this place, good coffee, great bakery items, nice staff, but they desperately need to turn on/turn up the air conditioning. It's always sweltering hot and humid inside, and there are a lot of sweaty people who come from exercising at the park, and I see them cringe when they come in from the summer heat just to get blasted with more heat when they come inside. Even just a couple cheap window AC units would do wonders. Also, some cheap paper plates to eat pastries on would be helpful, as well as a bigger garbage can that is not right underneath the cream station so you can quickly access it to throw out trash. This is intended to be positive criticism/friendly suggestions and doesn't detract from the 5 star review. I'll be happily coming back regardless.
My favorite bakery!! I've tried pretty much everything here, and love all of it. My absolute favorite has to be their sea salt chocolate chip cookies. I highly recommend visiting.
Absolutely horrible customer service, the bread is so average that it hurts; it's baked in the morning and is left out all day to become stale and dry.The operation itself is amateur, i wouldn't waste my money if i lived right next door. "Until we sell out" is the mentality of a children's bake sale, not a brick and mortar business.
My first visit to this amazing bakery today. This bread and biscuit were so delicious. I will be back again and again. Friendly service as well. Highly recommend.
Adria was very disrespectful and entitled. Someone needs to learn proper business etiquette and how to properly communicate with customers! I'll never go back to this sorry excuse of a bakery!
It is such a treat to go here, everything is delicious. I especially like the Artisan breads, especially the olive loaf but it sells out quickly. A must-stop place if ever in Cleveland!!!
The croissants though!!! Wow! I had a date with a big jar of Nutella and it was magical!!! Perfection!!

I come in often with small orders and am rarely treated kindly. It feels as if I am inconveniencing them by even walking into the bakery. I have recommended multiple friends and they have communicated similar experiences. If you really want to make someone there angry, it feels like all you have to do is ask a question or order a coffee.I love black bird but I hate how I feel when I walk out. It is the perfect place if you would like a croissant and a dirty look or unpleasant exchange :,)
