Visiting from out of town, grew up on Stoddards and hoped to share the experience with my grandson. However, he has celiac….not to worry! Owner operator was most accommodating and spent 15 minutes discussing the ingredients and method of making the ice cream.She even discussed possibility of cross contamination and served our portion from a brand new batch! My grandson Loved it…thank you for enabling me to share this delicious treat with my grandson!
This was my first visit to Stoddard's, and my partner and I each ordered a turtle sundae. We were disappointed initially because the custard was half melted. The flavor of the vanilla custard was good, but it was so melted that I was unable to evaluate it otherwise. The toppings were virtually nonexistent so I paid for sundaes and ended up with vanilla custard soup sprinkled with pecans. While I don't mind paying for good custard, the price was very high considering the state of the items. Super disappointed.
Used to be a nice place. Ordered a small pineapple sundae. Received a scoop of ice cream with literally 2 pieces of pineapple. Disappointed.
Yummy flavors including blueberry cheesecake, play doh, strawberry, blue moon, butter pecan.
The custard is excellent. The prices are way to high for what you get and to top it off they charge extra if you use a credit card. If the pricing was better I would be a regular. There are too many other local choices that are priced better and just as good. Too bad.
Please find better sundae bowls! I drove 10 minutes home after getting ice cream and it ended up all over myself and the inside of my car. The banana ice cream was not good and the Butterbeer drink was just a $6 small root beer float. Very sad. :(
Delicious soft serve ice cream. I wouldn't say thick enough to call it custard, but delicious nonetheless.
Best icecream around!!! ?Been coming here ever since I was a girl and the icecream and service get better every year!!! Pictured is a large triple thick milkshake... let's just say I wasn't expecting this mammoth of an almost 3# shake when ordering; definitely pleasantly surprised
.The whole thing sucked. Iam done with covid restrictions and playing games. So it was DQ for us, we didn't miss anything
Tried Stoddards for the first time, and will not be going back. They did not have the flavor that we wanted, and had to wait over half an hour for a measly serving of ice cream with barely any topping.
