It’s challenging to write this since my boyfriend and I come here frequently, and have taken our friends here too, and we love coming to Landshark Night on Thursdays. But, our most recent experience was just downright terrible. It was an extremely long wait to have our order taken, and actually get our food. Which is something we’ve experienced before so not too terrible. I ordered a single burger with onions, cheese, and bacon. My boyfriend ordered a double burger with onions, jalapeños, cheese and bacon. Once we received our food, they were both single burgers, no onions, and jalapeños on both. After 10 mins we finally got the waitresses attention to let her know. 30 minutes later the second burgers came back, messed up a second time. Both burgers were singles, both had jalapeños, and now mushrooms?? At this point we just ate them because we had been there long enough, and we didn’t want to have to wait longer. Our waitress gave us our bill, and did not look at us at all for another 25 minutes for us to get her attention so we could pay and leave. I had to go up to the bar myself to finally get someone to check us out. They apologized for what happened, and had no idea it was messed up the second time. They just blamed it on the cooks in the back. They didn’t offer anything to make this right. It wasn’t especially busy either. We’ve seen it busier with no problems. We also heard other people complain about their food being messed up as well. It’s going to be a while before we return.
Normally they are phenomenal which is why I order all the time, under the name of Bable. I order through door dash since they don't deliver to my area. This afternoon I was sadly disappointed as I got everything I ordered except my meal. I'm guessing I got someone else's as the burger had things that made it totally inedible to me. If it was the first error I would not post negatively but this was by far the worst error as I had nothing to eat
I purchased boxed wraps with homemade chips for a small work luncheon. Bert and the team at Little City Grille exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, fresh and the cookies are to die for! Everything from placing the order to delivery and payment was a breeze. I absolutely recommend them for your catering needs and will definitely use them again!
Bad service, bad food. Honestly I was truly surprised. This place used to be good and used to have friendly servers… not today. The food took over an hour to come out (no, they weren’t real busy, there was no wait to be seated) and when the food came it was cold and very salty. I spent $70 for my group of four people and I wish I wouldn’t have. You shouldn’t leave a restaurant still hungry an hour and a half later. The server never checked back on us not even once. We won’t be back.
Great place for Sunday breakfast. I know it doesn't sound good, but the Cap'n Crunch French Toast special this morning was both tasty and a work of art. Add to that three perfectly grilled pieces of bacon (ask for crispy not burned) and I am ready to face the cold.
We stopped by going through for a late breakfast. Food was OK - but nothing spectacular. We sent a glass of milk back because it didnt taste quite right. Server was polite about it.
Food and service was great! Friday night fish is all you can eat it was really delicious!
I stopped in to order some food for my dad and have it delivered later in the day. I was only in town for a few hours and would be leaving before dinner time but wanted to make sure he had dinner ready for him that evening.Unfortunately there were no delivery drivers available for the time that I was requesting delivery for. While I was placing my order and speaking to the owner and the server (Caroline), I had mentioned that the delivery was for my handicapped father who lived just up the road, within walking distance, but he wasn't able to walk (or drive) to pick up his food. Even though there wasn't anyone available to deliver, Caroline said that she would "make it work."This sweet girl came back to work after her shift to pick up and deliver my dad's food for him. I was floored by her generosity and willingness to help us out. I told her that she didn't have to do that and that we could take delivery sooner so she didn't have to come back 2 hours after her shift ended but she insisted.It is so challenging taking care of aging parents, especially from a different home, and things are not often easy for us, so I appreciated this act of kindness so much. I have spoken to the owner before and have always had pleasant interactions. The food is always delicious and with customer service like this, I hope they stick around for many, many years to come. I can not recommend this place enough!
Great local Kent restaurant. Never disappointed. Thursday burger nights are the best. Friendly staff and specials everyday. Can’t ask for much more
Food was great and so was the service. Prices are very reasonable too. I've been there before and would go back.
