I'll say our meal was good and delivered in a timely manner. The issue came after we finished our food. We waited 15 mins for our server to come check in to bring a box and the bill. Furthermore, I sat right by a couple speaking with the assistant manager about general topics and he was raving about how good their service was. That manager is clearly not doing great when he let a table right behind him go that long with no assistance and was not in the middle of anything other than chit chat. And when I paid, the check out girl said nothing to me at all. The restaurant had a total of 4 tables full, so there was no reason for slow service. I won't be back.
I ordered pick up and I was missing an item even though it had been marked off as packed, I also received 2 items that I didn’t order so I’m assuming someone else will be missing those. I called and asked about the missing item and they didn’t offer to replace it or reduce my charge. The turkey in the dinner was shredded and dried out and the dinner was just thrown onto the plate with no care. I won’t be ordering again.
Our greeter and waitress Niki were great. Food was good as usual. Would have given a higher rating - However:Women's restroom was absolutely filthy, grime on the doors, floor was actually sticky. Worried me about the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Food was good, we hadn't been to Bob's in a while. It did take a while to get our food and the restrooms were my biggest concern. They were filthy. Stuff smeared on the walls and had an overall dirty appearance.
Perfect for sitting down or picking up in a hurry they never fail to be consistent with both the timing and quality. A dependable , delicious, and well served breakfast option with traditional feels and modern convenience.
Just ordered carry out and they literally filled half the container of potatoes. And they didn’t include condiments- which were specifically asked for on the phone.
Today was a snow day and a lot of businesses were closed.Bob Evans had a reduced menu printed on a single sheet of paper. Some breakfast items, some lunch items and some dinner items. Only two waitresses, they did wonderful job serving people(in my opinion). Not the fastest service but we were perfectly fine with that, we weren't in a hurry. The food was good. I am glad we dined here today.
Not a really good experience, I understand people are short staffed but we were the only table eating in the dining room. Our server Glen made made 2 appearances and that was it, more effort was put into curbside takeout then the 1 table eating in the dining room. Just a terrible experience really.
I personally like Bob Evans, even though lots of people dump on it. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. I ordered the huge fried cod. Although it was very large, the was a ton of batter, not so much fish. Everything had an "old oil" after taste, and was just ho hum. I know times are tough, but I expect more from simple things, and large franchises. By the way, if you're going to have a bunch of teenagers on staff, at least have an adult there to keep them focused on work.
IMHO the quality at Bob Evans in general has been dropping over the last few years and this one was no exception. Poor service and blasé food.My meal was okay (but how hard is it to mess up pre-cooked noodles and biscuits from a mix). The wife ordered an omelette and hash-browns. The omelette was flat and crispy on the edges, the hash-browns were still cold.We would have complained to the server, but he never came back to our table (or even looked at us). He never came to see if the meal was okay or if we needed drinks or anything.Upon check out, we said something to the gal (who I think was some kind of manager or supervisor) and her response was basically, “oh, sorry about that”.I’m sure they’ll blame this on the pandemic as everyone does, (although it looked to us like there was enough staff for the time of day and everyone was operating at the same speed… slow) but if you can’t provide decent service and an edible product you had better just shutter your doors.
