Stopped by this modest lunch spot. The woman behind the counter was extremely friendly. I hadn't had a pupusa in years so I was very happy when she asked me to sit and wait while she prepared and cooked mine. Ten minutes later I walked out with a pork and cheese as well as a bean and cheese. I burned my mouth more than once because they were so delicious it was killing me not to devour them. Served with two housemade sauces (green and red) that had a nice level of heat that went well with the flavor profile. I will be back.
Super friendly people, really good food. I tried the pork/cheese pupusa and a steak (true) gordita. Loved them both. Great hot sauce too (perfect combo of flavor and heat).
